Hmm.. I’m still not 100% on this drama. Maybe it’s due to the recent slew of disappointments so even though I’m a huge fan of the leading roles and of most of the supporting cast, I just am not getting excited.
The trailer seemed so melodramatic. I mean it’s a war drama so it shouldn’t be filled with comedic hijinks but I don’t need to have the female protagonist crying every other scene or heavy music replaying every time the SJS and KHN have an emotional scene. Here’s hoping that my reservations are unnecessary.

Because of those 2PM children, I’m so sick of talk about abs. It’s not fun anymore. All entertainers have them! They need to be fit. So what’s the big freaking deal? Gosh they’ve tainted what could be a beautiful pic above with overkill.

I’m concerned as to whether I’m in the “mood” for this drama but seeing SJS and YKS could change my mind about that. Honestly I’ve been looking forward to this drama since its announcement because of this trio, however the closer it gets the more squeamish I get about whether I can handle the war, the separation, the triangle and the crying…
I’m definitely going to give it a whirl though!

Question: Has So Ji Sub ever starred in a rom-com? I only remember him from the melodramas I watched.
@18 SJS in ‘Cain & Abel’ he smiled quite often there, though it’s not a rom-com.

Yoon Kye Sang! JB stop tempting me. I was already considering watching this because of YKS and SJS, but the whole war-romance-melodrama was putting me off. I wish he’d do another rom-com. Such an adorable smile.

SJS starred on the romcom We Are Dating Now with Chae Rim. He didn’t smile much either on that one. Kwon Sang Woo stole the show from them by playing CR’s younger, not too bright, but hot younger brother.
I probably liked Cain and Abel because SJS smiled and his caracter had a cheerful upbeat personality.
There’s anopther war series starting on June 19 on KBS: Comrade in Arms, starring Choi Soo Jong.
I’m not a fan of war movies or series either, but who can resist a good cast?

Joke Lan here! Oh my GOD, it seems like we both have the same wavelength. I will also watch this show because of YKS! He was AWESOME in “WHO ARE YOU” which was another underrated K-drama like the recent PP. I fell in love with him from that show. It’s a pity that he didn’t get due recognition when he portrayed 2 totally different characters brilliantly! Anyway, he won many overseas fans from that show which is still very popular, a Taiwnese TV station repeated it 3xxx. YKS fighting!

Yay! Totally looking forward to SJS’s new drama! Cain and Abel was okay but compared to MISA, it’s just disappointing. Not really keen on war dramas and judging from the posters, it seems like there’s going to be lot of crying. I know Ji Sub liked to choose those characters with a more serious tone ( Cain and Abel was slightly lighter but the part when he wanted revenge and lost his memory part is totally…) I hope he choose a light drama for his next drama but I might watch this drama depending (I got so depressed after watching MISA) if I can endure all the departs and tearjerking moments. And yes SJS does not smile not often for his characters. Looking forward to it!

Do not understand why this drama was not a hit. It’s certainly worth watching than Kim Tak Gu which there were too many screaming and shouting, irritating …… Road number one is a drama showing the emotion, love, care, and relationship between human that are long forgotten in the current competitive world. lots of men tears were shown in this drama…..it’s shown the pain and fear of losing theirlife and loved one. I certainly voted thus drama as the best I have ever watched.
