Helloooooo, dear Friday Open Thread! It's so good to see you again...at some moments this week I've felt like you would never show up...so it's nice to know you didn't leave us and run away to a desert island. If you were a little more corporeal and a little less intangible, I would give you a hug...and maybe even a kiss. :D

First comment! First time that's ever happened to me...wheee!

I'm sitting here in my office hoping that at some point today I can find an excuse to shut my office door and watch episode 14 of My Princess...nothing like a little KTH/SSH adorability to brighten my workday!

Happy Friday, all you Open-Thread lovelies!! :)

Gong Yoo?? Can I at least have Gong Yoo? If not, then I'll take Uhm Tae Woong. I'm not picky. Well, I am, but only within certain parameters... ;)

0

Didn't girlfriday or jb already claim Gong Yoo?

*sigh* Ok, so Daesung is taken, but can I keep Wooyoung, Chansung, Seungri, Song Joong Ki.... Oh nos, I was abouts tah go write a whole list. Um, can I'll just stop here. XD Happy Friday! 3 Day weekend for President's Day. I just need to finish work now. X)

0

You forgot your little sis's Noh Min Woo!!!!!

0

who claimed daesung?!

0

@ Kay
Daesung is Diadda's First and foremost husband! :P

@mommy
Please, tell theasianstalker I am sorry!! I can not believe I forgot him, maybe because I know that he is so incredibly loyal to her, that no amount of "mines!" from other girls will sway her? :P

0

You guys can have Eric, he's all taking showers in boy band videos.... what is your problem lately. What, should I just go fake date Oh Man Suk* instead why don't I?!?

* aka "country" Eric

0

*sigh.... Since Gong Yoo is already taken [I still can caress him in my dream though, no?], I'll be more than happy to snuggle with Hyun Bin and Won Bin :D

Okay, question?? You're trapped on a crashing burning airplane with Song Seung Hun, Taecyeon and Changmin, and only 2 parachutes that hold one man/woman each. Who do you save?

0

Required fields are marked *

If I was, hypothetically, on a crashing burning airplane with that collection of men, I'm quite certain that I would be unconcious because my brain would have short-circuited from being that close to SSH. Also possibly because they would have had to knock me out to keep me from attaching myself to him and his eyelashes...and lips...and abs....

In which case, I would be at the mercy of the men to decide whether they would save themselves or save me! ;)

If he's a towel that means he'll float safely and just uhh soak up water right? Wait a minute. Why do I picture us jumping out of a burning plane into the ocean? (I guess that's more terrifying)

Taecyeon gets the man parachute and Changmin gets the woman parachute (and I get to laugh at him while I kick him off the plane, you're a girl today!) but before I dispense necessary life saving equipment I whisper to each some awkward profound death wish like "Write a song.. about loving older ladies in sweatpants. Make it a ballad" and then I send them (tearfully) off.

Then my plane crash lands into Madagascar but it's cool because I have like 40 pounds of chocolate gifts they didn't want still on board. It's all gonna work out! yeaaah!

Okay, so this situation was posted earlier in the week between us, and we ended up with a little different answer here. Of course, we used different guys, because... well, we're us... The options were T.O.P, Siwon, and Daniel Henney...

Viola: that is cruel! I am dying from the cognitive dissonance!
Brookeeve: Why is the airplane burning/crashing? How close am I to a large body of water? Am I flying over the United States? (Two of my relatives are gunnies... I refuse to accept a situation where an airplane is actually crashing and nothing can be done to remedy the situation.) The reason location is important is because the cross country Eisenhower highway in the United States is straight every three miles for one mile in case an emergency landing by aircraft is necessary. If the airplane is on fire, the liklihood is that only one of the engines is burning, and power to that engine can be terminated, leaving five other engines running and an emergency landing can happen.
Theasianstalker: I would save all of you girls first. You all mean a lot more to me than the guys. *does an evil smile* At least No Min Woo is safe on the ground :D
Viola: you know unnie my first, my absolute first thought when Leonardswench posted this was " Brooke will know how to make parachutes or how to stop the plane from crashing." Guess I was right. :)
Fixy Fixy Fixy: I left with no choice becaused when I open my eyes while lying on the save ground I see Henney looking down at my face with worry in his eyes. I promptly burst into tears thinking about Brooke and Viola...
Viola: Fixy! Did you just make me into a widow? *sniffles* Now I have to give up bright colors and wear white for the rest of my life. :( 'Cause I am never remarrying, my good opinion once given is given forever!
Brookeeve: After successfully landing the plane with only two engines left on a mile outside of Pennsylvania, I turn around to do a headcount and then ask, "Where are Fixy and Daniel?" Everyone looks up from the game of poker they were playing while I called in to Air Traffic Control, shrugs their shoulders, and returns to their game. Alina points vaguely in the general direction of the emergency exit, and then squeals in delight as she realizes that Noh Min Woo is standing there after having been notified that his honey was in a bad situation.
Theasianstalker: *runs into No Min Woo's arms* I was scared... :'(

0
reply

Required fields are marked *

continuing:

Viola: "Ahem"... I give up the death grip I had around Siwon and make little self conscious brushing motion in his general direction. I can not quite meet his eyes after the spectacle I made of myself when I thought we were all going to die. " I think Fixy saw a deserted island and pushed Henny out the emergency door." A sudden silence as everyone realizes what happens on deserted islands....I look everywhere but at Siwon's face, but from the corner of my eyes I catch the hint of a private smile brush his mouth. What the devil is he smiling at? To steer the conversation in a different direction, I ask the question everyone is thinking but no one wants to say out loud: "So, who is going to tell Okey Dokey?"
Brookeeve: I swear people, I just landed a plane. Why is everyone looking at me? I don't want to do the hard stuff! She might hurt me! Luckily she has Hyori to comfort her during her period of mourning...
Viola: *everyone applauds Brooke's marvelous piloting skill* I go over to unnie, on shaky legs and give her a hug. "I am so glad you were with us unnie! Leonardswench stuck me here with only two parachutes and myself, Siwon, Henny, and TOP to choose between..sniffle. I just couldn't do it." Theasianstalker pipes up from the circle of Min Woo's arms "TOP can call Hyori and ask her to break the news to Kim." I make an instinctive grab for Brooke as she shoots up from her seat. Brooke says...
Brookeeve: Fine, I'll do it. I hate you all.

My Eun Hye & Hyori are trying to restrain me from going on a murderous rampage after getting my husband stolen from me by a trusted friend. It's only when the icy blues shining from Jude's eyes do I start to calm myself. Although, not without the threat of physical pain on those that hurt me, using the rock that was placed on my finger by Henney.

I still sit, stewing, though subdued and distracted by the pretty in my house, listening to Henney bang on my door with a catepillar that made it's way from Lessaofpern's house to mine, on his face. I can't bear look at him in that state. It not only breaks my heart, but enrages me even more. I'm going to send Jude out to deal with him. Perhaps Hyori would be more effective, I've witnessed her savage nature on Family Outing and Running Man, I know what she's capable of. She may also call Yoon-Ju Bot aka Sweet and Savage YeJin as back up.

Happy Friday to All!!!!

I feel like I am going trough my "Mid Life " crisis for the "Third" time in my life !!!!

It feels odd this time around, when I was younger I felt that I knew it all! That I was "Invincible", and that I could conquer the whole world, but health and lack of education prove me wrong.

After I acquired more knowledge and took better care of my body I was still a "Punk", with enough information to be "dangerous".
I will be 49 years old this year and I am back at the gym exercising, and I am more comfortable with the amount of knowledge that I have, I am no longer trying to prove a point, but then again I want to be a good keeper of the experiential wisdom that I have gather, so I am starting to question what will be the best way to used my talents to help my fellow man?

It has been a long and hard road from just looking for "Me" as a person, to realizing that it is "better to give than to received".

I hope all of you have a day fill with "Peace and contentment", : O }

Oh so happy happy Open Thread Day!
Thank you JB/GF for letting us in your house to chat!

I'd read about someone keeping track of their drama-watching on a Excel spreadsheet, so I started one.

Among the more mundane facts of title, date watched, etc., I added columns for: grade for kissing, hotness of lead male, strength of ending.
Plus a bunch for drama cliches: piggy-back, stuffed animal, jewelry as gift, female vomiting, if the female lead has curly hair at the beginng and it gets straightened later on (Guess what? they ALL do.)

This idea fascinated my 11 year old son, who has been the closest observer of my K-drama obsession. Last night, we were looking at it and he kept asking me to explain some of the initials: Rich GP, Evil MIL, ML hotness.

I was amazed at how much he remembered from the shows I talked about.
That's the one where the girl has a tiny apartment? (Bali)
Wait a minute, BOF had a stuffed animal.
Is that the one where everyone dies at the end? (Won't spoil.)
You have to add a column for "crying in the rain."
Which show has the most points for cliche columns? (MSOAN)

I was so excited; I had to share!

They're in English since I watch K-dramas in English subs. :D It's a great way for me to remember just WHY a drama was so good. If it's not the acting from the wonderful cast, then it might be the dialogue that got me. Glad you liked the suggestion. Happy drama-watching/keeping track of all the ones you watch!

I do this for books, I totally take notes and have highlighters and post-its. But it's reserved for books I fall in love with. I don't do the same for dramas. For some reason, some of the cheese that comes out is ok in my head, but when I say it out loud in English, it makes my butt quiver a bit.

@Okie Dokie "it makes my butt quiver a bit."

0
reply

Required fields are marked *

Thanks, Kaitlyn, for the link. Sad that it was booed. The film festivals usually go for this kind of films...the slow-moving, introspective type. I watched the video clip of the Press Con that seattlebound shared above and it looks like only Hyun Bin was doing a fine job in explaining about the film. The actress and director were kinda lost in translation. Or was it because the video cut off their parts and only showed HB's parts? I dont know. Anyhow, I think the director is playing safe by using this film for the festival hoping that it would cater to the said audience. I find that in these int'l festivals you need to both shock and unsettle the audience with your content/topic for them to be impressed. But I hope they will be won over with HB and LSJ's sincerity and give the film a chance. On another note, any chance they will take a light-hearted rom-com seriously in this kind of festivals? :-) We need rom-coms to level up as well :-)

This week was the first in the 2nd semester, new things to learn, no time for dramas!! Yeah, i'm gonna miss them (Kim Soo Hyun, Wooyung&IU couple & Song Seung Hoon ♥ )

Have a very nice day, everyone!

I am really trying to get over this learning curve hump with learning Korean.

The hardest part is reading the characters and remembering what they mean in English.

I am waiting for the day were I can just look at a word and know what word that is instantly, sigh.

Right now I am just writing them over and over again. Engineering paper is good for that by the way.

I finally got past that point...but now I'm stuck trying to make the transition from listening and understanding to actually speaking it. For some reason between my brain and my mouth right now there's a major block...can't seem to figure out what to say when I want to say it, even though if somene else said it I would understand. Bleh.

I am having that problem too!

Also, my husband has a Busan accent so when he speaks it is a different pronunciation than the classes. At first I only knew his pronunciation of things, now I have to learn the more general one. He wants me to learn the Busan accent though.

Yeah...about 20 of my Korean friends are from Daegu, and when they all start talking quickly with each other I can't understand a word they say!!! I learned Korean primarily from watching dramas, and from my best friend who is from Seoul and speaks with a very very exactly proper accent...so I can't follow the dialect at ALL!! Good luck learning the Busan accent!! :)

My second language is German. But, I can relate. The two friends I always speak to in German have very different accents, so depending on which one I've been spending the most time with I pick up their dialect - then get teased by the other one when next we speak.

I think one of the funniest experiences I've ever had, and the first time I realized I was actually proficient - was when I was watching an English film at a German cinema. So, obviously there were English subtitles. It took me about 45 minutes to realize I was *reading the German subtitles*. Then I had the, "dur, I'm fluent in English" realization and couldn't stop laughing at myself.

I am. I don't think 8 is finished yet.

LOVED the just the two of them at the pub scene in ep 7. Finally some chemistry between the ex's, so I can see why they got married.

I still prefer Joo Sang Wook as Yoon Ho for Da-ji, because I prefer Joo Sang Wook for ME!
Damn, he is so sexy with his eyes and everything.

you mean the drunken evening and the hilarious morning after, right? i love that scene.

One reason why i'm still watching is im trying to see how this drama will make me root for the OTP coz right now I am so sold on LDJ-SYH pairing! I love JSW's smile. This should go down in drama history as one example of how the 2nd lead stole the thunder from the male lead (much like how Jaeshin took over SKKS)

thanks guys for taking the time to reply. i think ep 8 is where the fun starts and i dont have any subs. im gonna try myasiancinema. :)

i dont want her to be with ajushi because he treated her really badly when he found out she was divorced...

yeah, I also want to teach myself korean or take a class--so I can meet other people interested in the language. i gave up trying to wait for subs a long time ago. I love my dramas way too much. now me and my sister practice all the korean words we have picked up along the way...so crazy...lol.

When watching raw, I figure I understand about 20-30% of what is being said...pretty good actually, considering I have never even taken even one lesson in the language. I am definitely developing an ear for the spoken language. if only I could make myself sit down and study hard. but alas, i am too busy watching kdramas.

because of kdrama, i even taught myself how to make bibimbap and japchae. plus my fridge is stocked with kimchi at all times (even my mom who has never seen a kdrama eats kimchi cuz of me). after watching people stuff themselves in all those dramas, I had to try it for myself and most of the korean restaurants are far away from my house. thank god for google.

I've watched KD less than a year and picked up some. However whoever said Hanguel is easy was kidding.Okay it's easy if you memorise the alphabet.Which I haven't and now I am stuck on a Sat trying to read and memorize 12 pages of conversation for class on Monday.I have a scary 'halmoni' seonsaengnim who threaterned to evict the said noisy teens out of class :-)

My current Songsaengnim is very cute and friendly. He likes to laugh. When the girls call him they use that cajoling tone we hear in Kdrama. My Songsaengnim would smile his adorable smile and says naee...
The problem is his cuteness motivates others to study hard, while poor lazy busy me don't have time to study. So I was so behind! Okay, I'm at the bottom of the class now.

JB & GF,

Went through all the drama lists I could find on the web, put those watched in a spreadsheet with number of episodes, or hours for movies, and calculated a total. THAT was a very scary number, over 2400 hours in one year. A work/year is ~2080 hours, so I guess there is some 'overtime.'

My latest obsessions are New Tales of Gisaeng, am loving it, and; Daughters -in -Law, which is apparently in re-runs. Have to watch D-i-L on TV, can't find episodes on-line.

Ordered Elementary Korean from Amazon, looking forward to learning something other than stock phrases. I refer to my fluency in Korean as D-Korean, think I could write a script with all the stock phrases learned in the past year.

WHAT?? or What did you say?

Tell me what happened?

We need a plan!

WHAT??

Throw in a couple of 'you're bleeding' and 'you should get some rest,' 'have you eaten?,' 'are you busy?,' the script is 75% complete. Wind things down with an "i love you" or "I'm sorry" we are now 90% complete.

Please continue re-capping, I love your summaries and commentaries, particularly the cultural translations. You two have intensified my k-drama addiction.

Ahhh~ it's a nice day so far until later meek thunderstorms roam my hillside. > , < Oh well.

Last OT, I was sprinting in some Dong Yi marathon, and well, I'm updating on this, so far, 3/4's way still great. Awesome series. It catches me in tears several times along its storyline starting with ep.02 and now ep.46. I am overboard eager to finish it this wkend.

Anyone started Antique Bakery Jdrama? How is it?

I need good parental advice. I have a niece in her terrible 2's, and want to seek advice, other than sedating her in front of a flatscreen or playing outside during poor weather, what toys out there is best to perk some great creativity? I hear magformers are the greatest things. Really? (I'm not going to lie, I want to find challenging toys for her where she'll leave me be so I can finish my DY marathon.) What else?

Well, things to remember abt the dorama version of Antique. It takes a few liberties with the manga. So if you like the manga I would avoid it. So, the chef is a totally different character, if you get my drift. OTOH, Abe Hiroshi is adorable, seeing him knitting just made me giggle. The boxer and the owner are pretty good. I liked it, but didn't love it. Sorry abt the spelling, the autocorrect on this thing is driving me nuts.

Thanks for so few enticing tidbits of AB.

Aw, Carinne, not sure if I can help you there, since the TERRIBLE TWO's should be better known as I WANT TO EXPLORE MY WORLD AND INTERACT WITH YOU AT EVERY NEW DISCOVERY.

All toys at this age (approximately 18 months to 3 years of age) are just a medium for discovery and dialogue with whomever is present. Toys that actually hold attention span? Magnetic sets, for instance, which must be supervised at all times since they are a choking hazard. Ditto paints, clay ... et cetera.

Here's my suggestion: put the toddler in an enclosed/contained area that they have to stay in (playpen, circle of pillows, on a mat) and set a timer (if you do this every day you can make this a habit) for a few minutes longer than their current attention span (5 minutes, 7 minutes, 10 minutes, whatever). Withhold a stack of books, crayons and coloring books, or other "harmless" toys from them at all other times, and then present them with the toys or books only at this time in this place that you've created (somewhere in the same room with you, nothing like a crash from a neighboring room to disrupt your k-drama time). You give the child three rules: you must stay in this area, you must not talk to me until the timer goes off, and you must only play with the items within the area.

Over a period of time, increase the length of time that the child has to be quiet until, yes, you can watch your complete k-drama. At first, even with a mild-mannered child, the rules will have to be constantly re-inforced, but over time, the child will benefit by learning to concentrate, to be more creative with familiar objects in their play, and that they are not the center of the universe.

As for a marathon ... not to be pessimistic, but marathoning any k-drama for hours with a 2 year old is a bad idea for them and you ... you'll both wind up cranky.

Just my two cents. :)

Words of so much wisdom. I attempted to shed some generosity for my sister and in-law, being a babysitter, on wkends so they can have time to themselves once awhile. The task should be pro bono publico, however I'm not a professional on duty so I offered as a good samaritan.

Yeah, I can't get my stride back on my DY marathon while my nieces are here, I did attempt to fill in what I can during their naps and slumbers (like now). I do have children's books I bought from LA Kids Consignment blow-outs, bought 'em assorted Fisher Price blocks during BlackFridays, and I did stock up on color pencils during BTS sales at Target, although I haven't gone into coloring books (I ought to start buying from Dollar Tree), more like grabbing as I go coloring contest entry copies from Sanrio or Albertsons of sorts.

I don't have an actual playpen yet. My nieces, Isabel's 2 and Elaine's 1, raid my coffee table (the epicenter of anything possible) with their daily activities. I do need to start teaching them to distinguish between a playground vs. living area. I even have a black Schoenhut baby grand piano nearby for them I found online for $90 (shipped free); I became a total sucker for this baby piano during last year when I took Isabel to a local mall visiting a photo studio w/ it as a prop. I then had to get one. ^ , ^" It wasn't a rash purchase being I was still am a hobby pianist since age 5 till now, so I teach them when their interest sparks. They are going nowhere near my Roland keyboards till they grow a passion for this way of life.

In other exciting news, I am going to visit Shanghai at the end of May!! I have never been to China so it'll be an experience for sure. See how my Chinese stacks up when I'm not surrounded by people who can readily understand my Chinglish haha. It'll be a turning point - see how much I like it there and if I like it enough to move there next year...

Has anybody here taught English abroad? Specifically in Shanghai? I've been looking into teaching English programs and I've come across some that look pretty good, but there's always that ONE review that makes me think twice. And I can't tell if it's some competitor company writing a fake bad review or if it's legit. Any feedback would be welcome and helpful :) Thanks!!

This was a rough week, yo. I suddenly came down with a cold about two days before I had finals, thinking to myself that I wasn't going to make it through the week. But I did and you know what made it all better? Prez and Flames and Duooooo (I keep thinking of Yu-gi-oh when I say that. Like, especially the "it's time to dueeeeel" part but replace that with "it's time for duooooo" Yes, random.)

I also can't stop staring at this, almost a week later. It's been my happy pill for the past several days: http://endodo4ever.wordpress.com/2011/02/14/vote-for-jang-il-jun/#more-812

It's been a long time since I've fallen in love with a drama. Sure, I've liked many here and there but it's not often that I love a drama so much, I think about it constantly. It's a drama that stays in my mind when I'm at the office or when I'm reading a book. It doesn't help that I discovered the awesomeness of CSJ behind-the-scenes as well, since those photos are only fueling the fire! Playful Kiss was pretty high up there on my radar list in terms of dramas that kept me up at night last year, but Prez is just something else. It's intense, but filled with wonderful beats of comedy and family interactions. How I love it so. Your first impressions post did it justice. <3

Dream High is my all time favorite drama!! I have nothing bad to say about it. Plot is amazing, great characters (all of them!), nice mix of emotions, and I also think that the actors are doing pretty well acting-wise ... o.k. except for that scene when the outcast group was singing that song infront of the chicken man's restaurant. Did the director forget to tell them that they are supposed to pretend to sing? Because in many of those scenes, no one is moving their lips!! O.K. BUT that is a VERY SMALL complaint. :o) I LOVE DREAM HIGH!!

I wish the DB team were capping New Tales of Gisaeng. I'd love to see how they poked at parts making us laugh at the solemnity.

It's not that it's not a good drama-I'm really enjoying it-but the characters and the storyline definitely makes me think 'Show, lighten up! Give us a joke or something...please.' At the moment Sa Ran's sister has my vote as the could-be- comic relief. When she dances it is quite funny.

I usually have a clear of idea of who the good guys are (-the hero/heroine/comic relief etc) is but at the moment everyone in this drama seems to be a bit strange to me. Even the dog. LOL.

Which in part is part of why I keep watching it-to see who is the next to be cold/rude/jealous/greedy/envious etc.

I swear the title should have been 'The 7 Sins'.

0

oh andre! haha he gives me my comic relief. and son ja is a cutie.

JGS-LMH and MGY in a remake of Summer's Desire:

Okay a couple comments about Summer's Desire:

1) reading the little description with the pretty picture, which btw are not pretty they're down right HOTT!!!!, Idk who is who at all.

2) I think its totally AWESOME and I feel like its going to make me so happy I might just die, but I would just take out Moon Geun Young, I love her, I think she is totally cool and she and Lee Min Ho definitely should be in a drama together, but she's the who I would imagine Lee Min Ho and Jang Geun Suk fighting over.

3) I thought JGS turned down the role because of Bethoven's Virus?

LMH plays Ou Chen, JGS as Luo Xi, and MGY as Xia Mo.

In SD, Ou Chen gets the girl, but Luo Xi gets more love (from fans and from Xia Mo, IMO).

As for JGS turning down BBF, the BTS story has always been that he wanted to play Ji Hoo, which the production had cast KHJ first, and was the first role cast actually.

It worked out for everyone involved. I like LMH as Jun Pyo.

I was Team Luo Xi all the way, Who did you root for unnie? I stopped watching halfway through 'cause I hated the girl! The two guys were awesome, but her! Argh! It broke my heart when Luo Xi sang that cat song, and he was soooooo pretty! :)

0

Of course I liked...

I'm going to be drunk by the end of this game. Constantly. Every day.

I liked the girl though. She had such thorough foster care logic that I couldn't help but like her. Whoever wrote the book (because it was based off a book) was either in the foster care system or knew someone very well who was in it. All of the foster/adopted kids in that book operated purely on foster logic... and that's really hard to pull off.

0

I just wanted her to be nicer, or at least stop playing with both the guys at the same time.. :( or JUST PICK Luo Xi!!!
Another reason I stopped watching was because, I knew how it would end, and I just didn't want to see Luo Xi devastated. I physically hurt for him anytime his past was mentioned, and the hungry, hopeful way he looked at her broke my heart to pieces.
He was so broken and damaged that I just wanted to HUG him, and make promises of endless fidelity. I wanted to make my eyes into mirrors, and my hands into prayers to show him by look and touch that he was beautiful and beloved. I wanted the shadows in his face to go away, and for him to smile. Not to seduce or manipulate, but just because he was happy. :(
I am sorry I got so worked up. I realize that Luo Xi is a fictional character, but he really affected me. I think I never experienced second male lead syndrome more strongly than I did in Summer Scent.

0

I thought everyone needed therapy in this drama, not to get into even more damaging relationships with each other.

By the way, I think you meant Summer's Desire, not Summer Scent, which was the drama wherein Song Seung Heon looked like a curly-haired dalmation. ;-)

I assessed which guy was going to ^&^$%^$* go more batshit insane if they couldn't be with Xia Mo, and that was Ou Chen by far.

But Luo Xi was really the more hurt and damaged individual, and my heart wept for him.

Doesn't hurt that HXM was so damn fine to look at as Luo Xi, what with his smarmy slickness all a front for his gaping insecurity and abandonment issues.

0

Oh, I agree, she should have totally ended up with Luo Xi, but she saw that there was no way that Ou Chen would ever actually give up on her so the only way that she could protect LX was to be with OC. OC had hurt both of them so badly before, she made what sacrifices she had to to keep herself and her family safe. He wasn't going to stop, and they didn't have enough power to make him. LX knew that, too, and that's the tragedy of the entire situation. LX and XM were completely made for each other, they understood each other's logic and they knew what an alliance was. They would have been happy together, but OC was going to do everything in his power to destroy them if they had chosen each other.

0

hmmm i might have to pick this drama up again. i dropped it early because it just got so crazy and dramatic but luo xi is really good looking. and after reading what viola wrote, my interest has perked, but really, if he doesn't get the girl, maybe i shouldn't watch it...

0

@Ockoala
LOL. You are right, I did mean Summer's Desire! Al the season dramas have confused me! :P

0

I agree with Viola in hating Xia Mo. How I hate her! Barbie Tsu is my favourite besides Vicky Zhao but I really hate her character in Summer Desire. And since I hate her character so it influence my fondness for the drama itself. I feel like slapping her whenever she is with whoever she chooses to be with at whatever time she thinks approriate to bestow her affection. HATE her! I'm rooting for Ou Chen btw, but it hurts to see how she hurts Luo Xi so much with her wavering love. Yeah HATE HER!
Sorry for the ranting. You know why I'm so emotional don't you (I'm not going to say ottoke now, will just go back to that toilet now to calm myself and domore thinking)

OMG!!! I just watched What Happened in Bali, for the first time.. and I am in love with Jo In sung.. heck I didn't even know him before the show! But he is totally awesome!!! I googled him :D and was surprised that there are so few movies/dramas he did.. isn't he suppose to be back from the army already? The article said he left in 2008... anyhow he seems insanely charismatic. By the way Ha Ji Won's character was really frustrating... I am pretty sure that if it wasn't played by her I would have a hard time even continuing to watch... but what was the writer thinking really?.. If someone could be kind enough to explain her to me.. why did she sleep with both guys :-S if she loved Jo In sung's character? (aside from their hotness lol!) Also, Yoon-Ju bot was there!!! haha

Happy Friday everyone!

i kinda liked that she fell for both guys, although in the end, she realized she truly loved jo in sung's character. so many dramas don't even give the second lead male a chance, even if he is more kind, handsome and basically the complete package. they just completely ignore him and beelines straight for the assy male lead.

Good question, why did she? I basically decided that she'd fallen for them both and was torn: a bivalve lover, literally, of two hearts, duo corda. Each man gave her something different she needed, each got at her compassion and her emotional core in differing ways, but they both got to her.

I was initially thinking that she loved both men as well.. but that theory went out the window when I saw ****SPOILER: Ha Ji Won's character declare her love while she was dying?! I mean what the heck happened... was the writer simply trying to mess with us or what?... The whole point of the scene was that Jo In Sung's character was her true love right? So doesn't that mean she did not love both guys after all?... I'll probably get over this eventually but the story is still fresh in my mind and it is irritating the hell out of my brain!! urgh! Anyhow, at least I discovered Jo In Sung!

finished queen of reversal over the weekend and was completely satisfied! i'm so glad they got their happy ending! PSH is too frickin adorable. and i just loved the way they put the scene together for manager mok's death. his singing voice in the background as they revisited the old places he was often found was touching and nicely done. i totally cried T.T

currently addicted to once upon a time in saengchori and new tales of gisaeng. saengchori is so entertaining and laugh out loud. it has a great blend of romance, mystery, and comedy. the last episode was EPIC

NToG is just beautiful, the visual, music selection, actors etc. i love that there are so many newbies in here. i've been feeling bad for all those rookie actors who have been kicked to the curb in place for idols. i am already so invested in damo and sa ran. yes, i think damo is an ass, but a really hot one. ok now i sound shallow, but his gaze is so intense! he can be really sweet and the way he was all excited about how he was planning on asking sa ran's number was adorable. and i like how he stands up for his mom. so i guess it makes up for his assery. and i can't stop looking at sa ran's plastic nose! she is so pretty tho. and young doctor was fine! haha i kept replaying the flashback scene. they were so sweet. i noticed his hair style was different in every scene. okay long enough rant. i wish more people would watch it!

found this and thought it was nicely done http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OModtsW1uHg

I agree with you about QOR. I really likes the way they edited the death scene. In fact, I have a question for all Dramabean fans and JB and GF. I love the song that Kim Chang Wan sings and would like to know how to get a copy but I don't speak Korean and have no idea what he is saying in the song and do not know what the title of the song is. I did manage to find a youtube of the scene but I have no idea if there is a way to take lift the music. I am a Mac user and not that computer savvy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, my wise "unni"s in the OT, I would like to seek your advice.

So this has been bothering me for a while, and right now I'm just letting this situation sort of stew in the back burner because I have more important things to worry about currently.. But why are boys so confusing?! Yes, a life long philosophical question.. I've recently just been in denial how I still have feelings for this guy I used to like, but the evidence is mounting and my friends have basically told me to just face the truth.

This means I haven't gotten over this kid for like... 3 or 4 years. The reason for this is most likely the fact that he is my closest guy friend (as in one of the few friends I can actually tell everything to), and we still keep in pretty good contact even now, even when we are in two completely different locations, we'll Skype or phone each other up.

Some of my friends are telling me to "go for it" but a) I lack that confidence, and b) I really can't read him when it comes to things like this (I mean, back in high school, my woman's intuition about him was completely dead and I didn't know he liked somebody until he asked that girl out), and finally c) I don't want to risk losing this friendship. GAAH.

I WANT to get over him, but the current pick of guys around me is pretty sad. All the college guys I know are fine in the beginning, but turn out to be really immature (this might have to do with where I go to school, though).

What to do, my wise OT-ers? :(

IN OTHER NEWS. I am already dreading the ending of My Princess. I don't want it to end. Can I just loop cute SSH and KTH scenes forever and ever and ever??

Your statement, "I WANT to get over him, but the current pick of guys around me is pretty sad." is kind of a telling statement... you're looking to replace him with someone else. Don't do that. You probably really like him, but don't replace him 'cause that NEVER works well.

Tell him you like him or don't, it doesn't matter. Sometimes, it's more fun to just enjoy liking a guy than it is to actually have a relationship with him. If you think that you'll be happier living with a romantic relationship with him, then tell him. Otherwise, enjoy your friendship!

I agree on the not telling unless you think that'll improve things between you. Your imagination may have a better version of this guy than the real one right in front of you.

It's kinduv like that line from "Sleepless in Seattle."

Sometimes, "you don't want to be in love; you want to be in love in a movie."

0
reply

Required fields are marked *

Don't say anything, clichique. But you can DO things to show him that you like him. If he likes you that way, he'll do everything. You don't have to lift a finger. Cos if you open your mouth and declare your feelings, it'd be awful if he doesn't reciprocate. That would spell the end of a beautiful friendship. And if he likes you that way, go ahead and try it out. Sometimes in life, we have to settle instead of always searching for that elusive Mr Right. I read somewhere that there's no Mr Right, we should just settle for Mr Good Enough.

Hey JB,

You mentioned in your MP-13 recap feeling like you were kind of alone in still enjoying MP. You're not alone! I have been and am loving MP -- and Ep-13 and 14 were especially gooey yummy.

MP is so calming! It stills my racing brain. It's like watching a G-rated cartoon for veg-out time. (Sgt. Frog, move over).

It also helps that SSH seems to have gotten better looking as the episodes have gone on (as if that were even possible...and then it appears that it is possible) -- and his is the kind of looks that makes flowers bloom and birds sing and twirl mid-air in the frozen tundra that is my current landscape.

Then there is the lovely plot, which is so cute and silly that at no point do I feel stressed out.

And every single interaction between Lee Seol and Hae-Young has been gold, 24K. Perfect, perfect, perfect, played perfectly by perfectly cast actors.

I still love the fact that LS and HY have liked each other from Ep. 1, and neither has at any point played games with nor toyed with the other's emotions nor been mean! So we got two genuinely nice people, good old fashioned romance with most of the flirtation through smart (but not obnoxious look-at-me-i'm-so-smart) dialogue, an absurdly handsome lead male, and a pretty, spunky girl -- what's not to like?

So, um, yeah, you're not alone in loving this adorable gem.

Hey everyone!^^ Happy friday! I'm doing good. Kinda getting sick on and off throughout the week and I don't know why but I'm getting by. Anyway, I'm here cuz I have a confession. I'm writing it here cuz I was a drama fan long before I was a kpop fan (am clocking 6 years drama obsession vs. 2 years kpop fan) and this seems to be an appropriate place to come clean. -__-;;

I used to be a hardcore hottest (2PM fan) and my main biases were: 1) Wooyoung and 2) Taecyeon. I liked Jaebum next by default because he was really close with Wooyoung. Then Jay got kicked out of 2PM around the end of Feb last year and I got to see glimpses of Taec's and Woo's real life personality and I was so hurt I turned into an anti. Then I got tired of carrying around all that hate and I just left 2PM all together. I even left Jay in the end too.

As someone who was really invested in 2PM there was a lot of hurt and I deleted a lot of their songs and gave away stuff not because I hated them but because it hurt to listen/see them. I was also really upset with JYP. But I guess time does heal wounds. Not all but a lot of them.

I initially didn't want to watch Dream High. But I'm also a relative fan of budding artist IU. I decided to follow the drama through DB and after reading JB and GF recaps, I realized I was missing out on a fun zippy drama. So I gave it a try. It ended up being a great watch. It has some flaws but the writing is great and it has good OST too. I'm not as invested in Taec's storyline because it's boring but milky couple and Samdong storylines are awesome. It's not a perfect drama but it's really fun.

In the end I'm thankful to DB and GF and everyone else who kept cheering DH on because it got me to watch and I'm glad that I did. Plus, I don't hate JYP so much anymore because his character is engaging. I'm still reeling from the plastic pants though... even if I've seen it a year ago....XD

P.S. This is me saying the drama is awesome. It's a guilty pleasure for me. To 2PM fans, please don't try to change my mind about Taec and Woo ok? Been a fan since their debut. More than being angry, I was really hurt. Thanks!

Thanks for posting this! I'm not really up on all the Korean celebrity gossip (unless it includes T.O.P) so I don't know a lot about what happened with Jay and them. I read this week where Jay published an apology letter, and where he's performing in some concert in Korea soon.

Could you tell me what exactly happened? Why were Taec and Woo such buttholes, in your opinion? What happened?

YEY TOP-buin!XD can I take this moment to gush out how awesome he is?! It's like if Buffy and Spike had an asian baby, it's TOP!XD BAMF! and dare I say I personally believe he's the most awesome neighborhood F4 member ever! He pwns Micky Yoochun, Hyun Joong, and Jaejoong every single time!=P

Sorry.. back on topic. Okay, so let's start with the letter first. Jay doesn't really have a proper reason to post that apology because it's not necessary but he's the poster-boy of politeness (hence Jason being uber-polite as the BBOY from america --> jay's the bboy from america in real life) hence the public apology. He's also apologizing since it's almost a year now since he was kicked out of the group. Jay's contract termination was announced around the end of Feb last year if I recall correctly. He's planning to start his re-entry to the korean music scene with his upcoming EP so I guess he wants to formally end this fiasco with an apology so he can get on with his career.

Very dedicated ajumma Jaywalkerz (Jay's personal fans) have written a very comprehensive wiki article on the whole issue. It's not a very long read and it's really really really informative. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jay_Park It's a must read so my next words would be understandable.

My beef with Taecyeon & JYP:
1) Throughout the whole "Korea is Gay" issue, english speaking members Taecyeon and Nichkhun never bothered to clarify the meaning of Jay's words. JYP himself (another fluent english speaker) didn't do anything to explain or defend Jay's words. No PR announcements either. They didn't pull out any articles and let the thing escalate. Their entire camp stayed mum. WHY?! (Cuz JYP is a very smart and cruel man. He disliked Jay for undermining him and his company and wanted to punish him =Z

I dunno....>,,<

IT GOT CUT AGAIN. This is the last time I'll try to post this. If it doesn't work, I'll go to sleep. Sorry again... my bad.=(

-----------------------------------------------------------
(my beef with Taec and JYP cont'd.)
Their entire camp stayed mum. WHY?! ("Cuz JYP is a very smart and cruel man. He disliked Jay for undermining him and his company and wanted to punish him" not my words but from JYP ajumma fan). Jay initially lived his life in JYP dorm and only spoke with JYP and members of JYP team. Jay's initial comments about korea is gay was more a diss towards his life under JYP. In his xanga, he ranted more about it and it came to light that the situation was describing his extremely long term contract with JYP (8 or more years which Jay's father begged JYP to shorten to 7 years). He also didn't like JYP's style of music saying it was trashy (He likes American style and only really wanted to get to the idol business to help his family). In short, if JYP himself explained this, he would be revealing his company's short-comings and unfair contracts.
2) Taecyeon was initially on Jay's side. One of Jay's strongest supporters. But power corrupts and I suppose when you get half the endorsement deals offered to Jay, you'd prefer if he didn't come back instead. He got that car CF among others. He also became default leader of the group even though another member Junsu was older than him. Wooyoung also got more singing parts and received some of the guestings Jay would've received. When the Jay fan-movement grew, so did their resentment for Jay. There was this one member who really didn't like him in the first place and pretty soon, they all became twisted. This would've been easier to accept if not for the fact that they kept flaunting their so called BROTHERHOOD since debut. This is what made the public love them in the first place.
3) Appalling press-conference behavior. Taecyeon and Khun said the whole group decided Jay leaving is what's best for them and they decided to kick him out on their own. (Trufax. JYP called them and asked them to decide. The day before they won the MAMA 2009 and they all fake-cried for Jay saying the award was for him, they gathered in JYP's office and unanimously agreed that his contract should be terminated. Smart move by JYP.
4) Post-conference behavior by Taec and other 2PM members hurt me the most. Saying that your fans are bitches who'll come running back as soon as you release a new album isn't the best way to get them to come back. Trolling your international fan-site doesn't help either. Badmouthing your remaining korean fans who are concerned about your underperformance is kinda depressing already. Ignoring thousands of adoring tweets from fans but tweeting an international anti to shut up cuz she's ugly isn't very mature either.
5) Blocking all Jay's TV performances and setting concerts at the same time as Jay is kinda annoying especially when the guy just took everything in stride, apologized non-stop, asked fans to keep supporting 2PM, and lived his life quietly. JYP badmouthing Jay again on Win-Win months after the conference is lame as hell too. JYP's gotta stop being petty!

I dunno.... Taec used to be this cool geek who drew cute cats and Woo used to be the real-life Dancing Sam Dong (complete with Satoori). Now it's all crappy and the first group I ever loved this much is all gone. I haven't loved a group as much ever since. Psychological trauma much?! Sorry for the rant. This was a whole four pages longer but I cut off a lot and here it is. I hope I made sense. If not, the wiki page makes a lot Lot LOT of sense.=) Thanks for reading. Cheers!

@brookeve IKR?=S I'm guessing the DBSK drama is a whole lot worse but this is definitely a contender. A lot of people were hurt cuz of the fanwars that ensued (mainly due to the newbie fans). I Also, it killed the international fansite (in my opinion anyway). I feel most apologetic towards them. 2PM's international fansite used to be super amazing. It's such a waste really...=,(

@lessaofpern just watching Jay from afar now. *sigh* too much drama. =___=;; Jason the bboy from America really gets me.... Jay(son) the bboy from America... *smirk*

Wow, yeah, I knew some of this stuff because I was just getting into KPOP music when the Myspace Controversy thing started, but the "ugly side" of 2PM (with the dissing the ugly girl and stuff) I didn't really know about. I'm not a fan of 2PM in the sense that I don't like a single song from them (I didn't think they were bad or anything, I just couldn't really get into it), but I do like Chansung for reasons that are beyond me (I saw him just for a minute or two on the first episode of OMS aka 100 points out of 100) and I've tried to watch everything with him in since (okay, not everything, but some). I don't know if I can believe all that was mentioned here (the ugly girl tweet and bad mouthing fans) because I would think JYP or HR or PR/image control would have made it so that 2PM didn't add to the drama and make things worse. Although, I do feel bad for both sides: Jay had a right to be frustrated with JYP if things were going down like that behind the curtains, but I also feel that with Korea's (fairly?) conservative culture, he should have known better than to express his views in such a way that could have hurt him. I do think and hope that Jay really gets his chance to stardom once more and I hope the bad blood can be cleared.

Yeah, there's so much drama when it comes to idols and scandals and controversies and break ups. I know a bit about DBSK, but not by much (like I said, entered into Korean related stuff late because I was into Japanese culture first - and still am), but I do know about SNSD (SoSHis please don't kill me). I don't hate SNSD, but I can never bring myself to like them. It's a similar scenario with Jay: Korean-Americans in Korean entertainment. You can't just say you did it because you are used to the liberal ways of America. Rule No. 1 about going overseas business: Know the Culture and Customs and abide by it. Hey, I like SNSD's song "HOOT" and "Run Devil Run", but as individuals, I just can't support them because, well, but my culture too makes it easy for me to abhor anyone who disrespects their elders. But I'll stop there.

But yeah, hope that one day there would be peace between all idol fans (and that anti-fans can just be antis, but not freaking be zealous haters).

@Ani The ugly girl tweet was a big issue between international hottests and anti-fans. She's a friend of my unni on twitter and she used to be a hardcore hottest as well. It was awful. imagine the tweets she received from Taec fans. The badmouthing fans, you can find screenshots of the original korean articles and the translations in the international forum. It's buried by other articles cuz it's old but it's complete. Evidence and all.
What jay said on his private myspace and xanga was his private thoughts as a teen and trainee. It's not his fault netizens hacked them both and grossly mistranslated them. Even the public acknowledged that they mistakenly witch-hunted him. Jay's biggest mistake (in my opinion) was belittling JYP when he first came to Korea. cuz you know.... JYP doesn't do damage control if it doesn't suit him. =)

I don't know much about the Japanese idol world or SNSD's issues. I'm more of an anime fan and I don't follow events there closely. I doubt there will be peace in the idol world but it's all cool. My only wish is that people can discuss rationally and debate without getting all personally affronted and stuff like that.=P

Now, you have to realize that I'm kind of a different story when it comes to freedom of speech/expressing how you feel. I really respect other cultures, but this is something that I really have a problem with in Korea.

It's all right and all to say that you respect another culture but every person on this planet is entitled to say what they want to. This is a God-given inalienable right. Man has no power to dictate the way another man feels, because all men are created equally. (Can you tell that I might have taken one too many law classes?)

When another person feels that, because a culture is 'conservative,' that they need to watch their mouth or censor what they are saying, you are infringing on rights. Not American rights, because these are the universal rights of being a human being. If you believe in your heart that no man is better than another man, then you cannot blame Jay for speaking out against something he found unfair. It is the duty of a human being to protest unfair treatment publicly. This not only protects a single human being, it also protects others from the same treatment.

In short, I completely disagree that 'Knowing the Culture and the Customs in It,' is a valid argument. As Americans, we don't keep our culture a secret from anyone. If anyone chooses to take in an American, they should prepare themselves for what that entails. I'm not saying that we're better, I'm saying that we've been trained to speak up against injustice. It's what we do. If you sign one of us to your label, you'd better believe that we're going to speak up for unfair treatment.

I can foresee that you are going to say, "Why should another country change itself for an American who is on their soil?"

Dude, I love Korea. I really do. But their censorship thing is unfair and biased and really needs to be addressed. Someone is going to have to say something about it, and if it has to be an American... so be it.

0

@brookeeve, I was referring mostly to SNSD dissing a sunbae. But I agree with you, every human being has unalienable rights and which is why I said Jay had a right to be frustrated and to speak up about it. But he could have picked a different way to express his feelings instead of saying "Korea is gay" because that's not attacking the object of his frustration (JYP) it's attacking a whole country that loved and supported him (and so brought more harm to himself than he needed). Now of course, like x0mi07 said, it's out of context said like that, which is why I said Jay should have known better. You can't expect the world to respect your privacy when you're a celebrity (which is why I feel bad for celebs), so you need to take precautions to protect yourself in the case that your online accounts get hacked and such.

About Korea being conservative, I'm from a culture that has it's fair share of conservative ways and things that are frowned upon by Americans (not mutilation or anything like that) but Americans jump into trying to change my culture without fully understanding why things are there. I'm not saying I'm for people keeping their mouth shut (because I'm not. I'm a believer in the US Constitution and what it had to say about mankind - reinterpretation wise... I too have taken my fair share of PoliSci and law classes), I'm just saying you don't just walk into another person's house and piss on their table, because that leads to fighting and bad blood. You befriend them, learn their ways, and you take steps to make changes if its something that needs to be addressed. Anyways, I hope for the best for Jay and 2PM and JYP (and Korea). Korea is taking steps to make changes for the better (I hope), and I hope they do it while keeping the important aspects of their cultural values intact. Cheers.

Just to defend myself:

I am an American. On my father's side of the family we have lived on American soil for 15,000 years. We have not been allowed to call ourselves American until about 1973... but my people have fought for Americans since 1940. Americans did come in and piss on my culture, they shot down the women and children of my tribe in 1890, they kidnapped children and sent them to boarding schools to 'civilize' them and make them 'white' and 'socially acceptable' until it was ruled illegal in 1984. I understand what you are talking about when Americans use the big stick to get their way. I heard all about it, and I have seen the devastation of it on my family's reservation.

I would like to point out, however, that this is not what Jay Park did. He said something wasn't fair. He called Korea 'gay,' which using American slang means almost absolutely nothing. He was using a man's freedom of speech... and we are friends with Korea, we have learned about their culture, and he spoke out against it. He didn't barge into a strange situation and make judgments.

I understand where you are coming from, or at least I think I do. From my standpoint, I cannot accept that what he did was in any way, shape, or form, wrong.

@brookeeve

I think I might have to clarify something: I am American too (in the sense of Nationality, not National Origin), so I don't think everything American is bad, just the barging in without permission part is (which, you're right, is not what Jay did). I gotta say that I don't agree that in the States using the word "gay" means nothing because it does. I'm not a fan of using the word gay in the negative connotation that many unthinking kids today do because it says homosexuality is unacceptable. When you say something is gay, you're pretty much saying it is bad or something to be frowned upon. I'm not condemning Jay for his need to express how he feels, but perhaps his choice of words weren't the best especially since in Korea national pride is major on the upscale. But I also understand (or I hope I do) why free speech is important to you. I'm glad you're trying to be understanding of where I'm coming from (because half the time I wonder if I'm getting my point across clearly) and that we can talk civilly like this too. It's not a common thing to find someone willing to agree to disagree with me without getting my head bit off or cussed out at or something of the sort. X)

0

Cool. I guess I don't think of calling something 'gay' as too terribly offensive 'cause all of my 'gay' friends and relatives use the word as a descriptor of something that has too much sequins or too many colors or just a tad too garish... for example, the movie Burlesque with Cher and Christina Aguilera was described as 'gay' by my homosexual friends. It totally slipped my mind that it could also mean 'bad' or anything negative... 'cause all I was thinking was sparkly.

I hate people who resort to name calling when they disagree with someone. It drives me up a wall and lowers my estimation of their intelligence... and I'm happy to say that it doesn't happen terribly often on this site. Unless I'm calling someone a poopy head for trying to steal my T.O.P and in which case I'm sure that you can understand. :)

Anyway, it was fun to have this conversation! I love it when this happens!

0

HAHAHA. If we're talking Big Bang, than I won't take your TOP as long as you leave Maknaes Daesung and Seungri to me. Although, like I said, 22PM's Chansung is my latest obsession. *grins like an idiot* See you on the next OT. X)

0

Gees-us, I still use the word "gay," meaning "happy."

0

Carinne: *sigh* Of course that's the original meaning, but it means so much more now. Gay is another word for someone who is homosexual now but it doesn't stop the fact that people use it negatively too. There's a big difference between saying "I'm filled with gayness right now that I'm about to cry. I'm so happy." and looking down at a person and saying "Man, that's so gaaaaaaaaay" or or someone who is gay (or with gay friends) referring to something that is gay (as in homosexual) like how brookeeve mentioned, where they would look at a pretty dress and say "Oh sweetie that dress is so gay on you. It looks fab. Totally you." I'm glad you use it in the positive way with it's original meaning, and I'm glad brookeeve and her friends use it positively in the sense of homosexual taste, but that doesn't justify the tons of people out there who use it in hurtful/hateful ways (and dear 2PM/Jay fans, I'm not digging at Jay here because I'd rather not get into that please and I don't know the context of which he used the term). But I guess the world can't be all rainbows and ponies.

Dear x0mi07,
there's always the other side of story, and there is a nice quote :
"We have a right to believe whatever we want, but not everything we believe is right."
— Ravi Zacharias

We never know what's the real facts behind 2PM and Jay's story. I believe they have reasons not to reveal everything, and I respect that.

You have the right to feel hurt, sad or angry, but let me put it this way : both Jay and 2PM have moved on, so why don't we move on too? Let's just hope they will be in good term again soon, because they were brothers, and I believe they actually still really care about each other.

And for me, it's kinda sad that just because he uses his name for the company, Park Jinyoung gets bashed every time. JYP Entertainment is not solely Park Jin Young, it's a company, and many people involve in it.

cheers.

@djes

I'm sorry but 2PM already said with their own mouths that they didn't want him and no matter how much he cheered for them and apologized to them, they only ignore him. They haven't even apologized one bit for their behavior towards their fans. I don't think we're going to get hugs and puppies anytime soon.

Also, JYP has already stepped down from JYPE a long time ago. So when I used the word JYP, I meant Park Jin Young every single time and not his company.
