Just noticed something. On Monday & Tuesday we have Lie To Me, Miss Ripley and Baby-Faced Beauty, all of which are about lies. Is there a thing going on about lying?

You've continued to recap many bad dramas like Mary Stayed out All Night. So please do so for this one!

If you guys are planning to drop dramas halfway through recap, then don't recap at all. What's the point?

i love KJH as much as jb and gf love him..so i do understand their feelings..when they had to decide dropping this drama....sigh...

honestly, amongst the 3 dramas i watch now, Best Love, Romance Town, Lie to Me has been the weakest one..as much as i enjoyed watching KJH looking so mighty fine here...

anyway..what about instead of an OT, maybe just a short comment of the 2 episodes during the week? I'd loveeee to hear what your thoughts on this drama..
or maybe just a short conversation between jb and gf??

Sure it doesn't seem fair but we're not the ones recapping our butts off...and the beauty of the recaps are that they are so Jb and girlfriday filled - snarkiness, wittiness and all that goodness in between that it wouldn't be fun without the biased opinions you guys give! I have personally come to trust you guys for all my kdrama cravings so I just wanted to voice my support for you guys whatever you do! As one person previously commented, your recaps really are nuggets of gold...so I'd follow you guys through Lie to Me, Miss Ripley, Lie to me open threads or nothing (though I admit I would sulk for a bit if you somehow decided on dropping it all...)

I am a little bit dissapointed here not for DB but for some negative comments from some of you. To be honest, I can understand wisely why they (DB) CONSIDER to drop recap LTM. I am myself have this big big dissappoint to LTM. I think it will be something good only coz of the two main casts KJH and EYH. But as the first ep was aired I already guessed this would happen. Dont get me wrong, I am still watching this drama but just watching and do not put high expectation anymore as I have at the beginning. If only these two casts were not in, I gave up already after the first ep.
As they (DB) stated above its an open thread. If they think they could not manage to recap two dramas in the same time, its their decision. You should be grateful that they have been doing the recaps so far for this drama.
Anyway, for DB, I enjoyed your recap very much, since you showed proper english (I understand) and you put logical thinking for some of the korean phrases or term which is difficult to translate (other recap sites do not supply this), you also put critical comment though some people out there will not understand. In short, you recap is not only translation but more about being critical for positive reason and culture explanation as a bonus. Thank you and keep continue what you think you should do without hesitation.

am so disappointed that you have decided not to continue the recaps. your respective insights, JB and GF, on the diff dramas make them more interesting to us non-korean speakers. your recaps of earlier dramas were what got me into kdramas in the first place....

isn't that Ripley show the one with LDH? hmmm, don't really like her and don't have plans of watching it.

I love my quality dramas, but I can appreciate the fluff too. I love my meatloaf and mashed potatoes, but I sometimes I just need cotton candy...I sound like a crazed hungry person! :)

Anyway, I will continue watching Lie to Me cause I just love the leads and the brother. I do think it's a bit unfair to compare Lie to Me to Ms. Ripley though since they are in completely different genres. I know some people who don't watch any melodramas....at all. So, apples and oranges....meatloaf and cotton candy...

Pleaaaaase keep your recaps and comments about this drama. It makes all the difference and since i recommend your recaps for this drama to all my friends -k-drama freaks- . just give it a chance ^^

whoa, such a lot of negativity for DB's decision. admittedly, i don't watch LTM because the recaps discourage me. i trust in DB's choices, see how i love que sera sera? that would never happen unless DB came out with their rec list.

i love yoochun, but if it sucks halfway, i'd want to drop it too. i didn't make it past ep4 for yunho's drama, or ep7 for changmin's. didn't finish jae's sunao either.

for DB, it's up to you really. i care about which dramas you recap, because it's a culture that you're introducing to me via these recaps, but not to the extent of bashing you if your decisions clashes with mine.

agree to disagree, i say. fans of LTM can keep on watching, post on the open threads; DB has given an option, haven't they? let's see how Ripley fares with DB's dissection. if it turns out to be up to their taste, then cool! that means they have fun recapping it. but if it falls short, then by all means, its their decision in the 1st place.

in the meantime, let me finish dl-ing MR and see for myself how the pilot episode fares.

The premise of Ms. Ripley doesn't appeal to me. I either won't watch or it will take me a long time and a dry spell of other dramas before I watch in the future.

I'd been to another site that recapped Lie To Me episode 7, why can't I able to finish reading the recap there when I like Lie to Me and YEH. sometimes the style of writing of the writer attracts the reader. I miss gf and jb's recap of LTM

I apriciate the recap on LTM this is the only drama I am watching till its over.

I'm loving this idea of open threat actually for the drama and for other dramas you girls can't recap it can give us the chance to spazzz, rant or vent.

So I totally understand if LTM has been dropp, and to be honest LTM compared to other dramas airing right now is not a stellar, the lead OTP chemistry is what driving this drama, the writing sorry to all LTM just sucks and like MSOAN its wasting their talents, I could be wrong down the stretch and the drama can actually get better, but right now I just don't feel it.

I did not vote because Im not exactly a big fan of LTM although Im still continuing to watch it because I just like the chemistry of YEH and KJH. But, on the other hand, I do think the open thread might be a good idea for those who really want to rave or rant about this show.

I can understand if you dropped the recapping of this show. I saw it coming with how the show went sluggishly from epi 1. It would be best to use your time and recapping magic for the other shows that are more solid and exciting (hint: BFB, hehe).

So the open thread dedicated to Lie To Me is a really neat idea! Maybe you should do that for all the other shows that you cant completely recap on a weekly basis. Because who knows things might change for Lie To Me mid-stream and you'd hate to disappoint all these fans who are just goin' gaga over it right now. A zippy comment here and there can really mean a lot to them.

So this just totally ruined my day. Lie To Me is getting better. It had a rough start, but I thought your love for all things Kang Ji Hwan would be enough for you to stick through recapping.

Whether something is "good", is always subjective. I think Ripley gives a sense of diversity of dramas being recapped, since Romance Town, Lie To Me, and Best Love, in my opinion, are along the lines of romantic comedy. The same line of thought goes with recapping 1N2D in the first place, to diversify and give us a sense of what else is on TV in South Korea.

I get people here like LTM, but to say ripley is boring just because isn't the kind of drama, style you like is too much.

LTM is boring too. If it wasn't the OTP this drama would suck BIG BIG TIME.

Stop saying about MSOAN. It didn't have a good plot but at least the OTP made more sense than in LTM where they kiss from nowhere and they even didn't know each other well.. the writter is just using the kiss to rise ratings which is pretty lame. The plot is so MEH, I give a shit to the evil friend, in MSOAN at least MK's friends drunk were funny, and the second male hot.

Here SH is a spolied kid who get's all pissed because things don't go his way.

If you are saying about Softy's recap I have to say is not her fault you don't enjoy her recap, because what she do is just write live what the characters did or told. She doesn't put her thoughts in the middle while writting her recap (because is live) so if you don't find it good is because the drama isn't good lol

Koala is liking better and better LTM, she even post like 4 post about the OTP, so I think you'll be happy there...

Ripley should and must have a chance to be recaped too!

I'm somewhat bummed about this - I usually watch the ones ya'll recap because I can watch the episodes raw and rely on your recap to understand...yeah i know...this is my addiction :(
