Pandora always recommends the songs I don’t like. Thx @greenfields! The choreo is quite good in this one too!

This song IS Dope! I got scared off by the title at first, thinking that it was either gonna be dumb or about drugs (or maybe both)

but instead it was awesome. I’m not adding anything more, green said it perfectly. 😂

Yay! Do you like Dope? It’s the second Bangtan song I heard and it pretty much sealed the deal for me.

On YT, you can click on CC for the subs – BigHit kindly adds them for international fans. XD

Yup, yup. Liked it and had subs up. Understood it a bit more now that I have context and info. 🙂

        Yay! 😄
One last song I’d recommend is”ddaeng” for its Hwatu (Korean card game/gambling) references. “Ddaeng” has at least five meanings not including it being the sound of the buzzer when someone gives the wrong answer. ^^

        More “Korean-reference” songs another day.

Hahhaa great! The lyrics of ddaeng are far more punny than the song suggests. And ddaeng itself has multiple meanings. Side note: I love RM’s part at the end where he stutters in ‘fear’ of the criticism re his pronounciation. ^^

@greenfields yes! I loved joon’s part where he stutters on purpose. I can’t believe their diss tracks are ALWAYS a level above the predecessor

@fatcat007 – Ikr? Since we’re on @hades‘ wall, I’ll answer more specifically or it’ll be useless gushing.

            I LOVE singing along to Cypher Pt. 4. The refrain, “I love, I love, I love myself. I know, I know, I know myself. Yo players haters you should love yourself” – is SO GOOD. I really do feel like it’s positive reinforcement & makes me love myself. And I thought they couldn’t up it, but ddaeng is possibly even better. “You wrong, me right, jal bwa, ddaeng!” End of story. Won’t let anyone’s judgment hold me back. Haha. ^^;

yes I totally agree with you gf ^^ that’s why I love cypher 4 so much

And how I personally feel about ddaeng: it feels like after the last cypher, the boys are in a very chill/celebratory mood, they’ve left the haters far behind. So their anger has kind of gone down. (hobi never sounded angry in any cypher to start with haha)
Considering how fired up Joon was in cypher 4 but now he just smoothly raps in ddaeng feels like he’s just sitting back in his chair & telling the haters that they can never catch up lol.
I feel like I just expanded on what I said earlier haha. I’ll stop.

            sorry for spamming hades

@fatcat007 – ABSOLUTELY right about the diss tracks after the fourth Cypher! <3 I love the Cyper 4 performances, not the studio version, because the rap line are so clearly feelin' it. XD

Mic Drop's "majimak insayah" was clearly not the case and I'm so glad. I need the occasional diss track in my life! 😀

BTW, re: Pandora, I meant that it never plays the songs you guys know which I like, like this one. They play the less popular ones oftentimes.
