I haven’t watched enough dramas this year to write a Theme of the Month post, so I’ll be sharing my most memorable OSTs here with a mini-review. I started out 2018 with:

#1Just Between Lovers OST 7 – “Where We” by Ryu Ji Hyun & Kim Kyung Hee.

This haunting tune has a man and woman singing a duet, tentatively reaching out to each other saying, “you sing a song, I sing along.” Both our main characters were wounded souls who struggled every day with the trauma of having been in a major accident when they were young. They learned to open up to each other about their pain. They fought for their happiness and love. In the song, the beauty of the voices is accompanied by relentless piano chords, just like life goes on even after tragedies. This drama really lives up to the “healing” tag.
