I just read that Jackson Wang is cancelling the release of Faded. Admittedly I didnt like it the first dozen times I listened to it and called it terrible and asked where his team was and how come no one was stopping him. But. Now I feel all bad for him 🙁 the two school of thoughts about it seem to be that it was cancelled because 1) it was terrible or 2) because the teaser video was too sexual considering the current scandal ridden state of kpop.
Either way, I feel badly for him. He seemed to be pumped about the song and was promoting it super hard.
And I did come around. I liked it eventually. Not my favorite of his solo stuff. But, I DID come around. And I feel really badly for him it got to him that his fans hated the song so much that he cancelled it.
That’s too bad. I didn’t like it either (and I didn’t listen to it enough to have it grow on me) but that must be really disappointing for him. I hope he comes up with something better!
He’s already posted that he’s going to release something in the early part of April. I’m excited for it. If he really is cancelling Faded because it wasn’t great, hopefully he’ll take the critique and this new single will be better.
I love his voice when he sings! Goll. Kills me. He says that he doesnt think he’s a very good singer. It looks like he’s finally getting over that. I think he’s a much better singer than he is a rapper.

I listened to it when you posted it. I didnt like it. But it had a catchiness to it and I really liked his voice. I liked the husky quality it has.

Aw. The song wasn’t my cup of tea, but this stilll makes me sad for Jackson and all his effort.
