Feeling free as a bird~! #taxesdone
I couldn’t concentrate on dramas while dealing with real life stress.
Had to change tax programs last minute too, but got them done.
Now I can enjoy Her Private Life’s premiere today~~! =D

Ugh, I know the feeling. I finally got mine done last week too. I’m having the same problem focusing on dramas while life takes over. Granted I’m also moving in ten days, so I have bigger issues to deal with now. But I’m hoping some cute from Park Min-young and Kim Jae-wook can keep me interested (and sane).

Yayyyy –highfives- Moving is a big deal, but you gotta have time to relax between all the unpacking/sorting and changes. :] Love me some cute from these two. I’m trying to keep low/no expectations, but I already like both leads a lot. xD

Yeah – April has been a bit of a sh-tshow for me because somehow the busiest month of my work coincided with moving, hence my decision to try to get my taxes done earlier.

The only good thing is I have 10 days overlap in leases and the new place is literally two buildings over so I can take my time moving. I now remember why it took me seven years to move. But I finally get more space and a proper kitchen, so totally worth it.

I haven’t been able to appreciate a new drama this entire cycle though I do actually enjoy the ones I manage to sit still long enough to watch. Hoping some cute will keep me grounded for a bit tonight.

I was about to ask if you were moving to a different city/state… So that’s good that you don’t have to travel far or transport your things a long distance. More space is good. And more room to decorate?! Do you like to cook?

Yeah, I can only manage one episode most days. There’s a bunch of currently airing dramas I want to check out so it gets overwhelming. And I don’t have a specific order on which dramas to start next. XP It’s like too many books and I can’t dive into all of them at the same time. LOL I think I’ll want to keep up with HPL every Wed-Thurs though. 😛

I do like cooking, but the lack of counter space made it hard in my current place. I have so many prints to put up too, and that’s on top of the dozen or so I already have up. Basic plan at this point is to just move the unnecessary things over the first weekend and then move clothes and other stuff during the week, and order furniture then too. We’ll see how this works out. I’m glad I actually have upper body strength from yoga and boxing now.

I am enjoying He is Psychometric and Possessed and I want to sit down to appreciate Waikiki 2 but I just can’t these days. I like what I’ve seen but I just keep getting distracted looking at furniture or work emails or whatever. I just keep telling myself things will calm down at the end of the month so it’s even though its crazy now, the end of the tunnel is in sight.

@snarkyjellyfish Breaking down the different parts is the way to go. Get the big things like furniture done first. A fresh space = new design/layouts! Exciting. It’ll be nice when you get settled in. ^^ Do you have prints that are framed? Or not?

Possessed yessss! ♥ I’m so behind. But I’m glad it is getting subs/more interest. :]

Half of my prints are framed but when I ran out of wall space I stopped framing until I moved. I’ll frame the rest when I get a chance. I’m not taking any of my furniture really (donating my bed and desk because I hate them and they were pretty cheap to begin with – only intended to use them for three years and it’s been almost seven). I’ll order a mattress and bedframe (already picked out) when I get the keys.

I need to buy a TV this weekend since the cable/internet person is coming the day after I get the keys. I’ll deal with getting a proper stand later, so for now one of my $5 end tables can do the job. Honestly, I decided to take my time filling up the space. I’m OK with slightly spartan living for a bit because this time it’s not student living, so spending a bit more and looking for stuff I love is important to me. Plus, spreading out the bigger purchases never hurt. I have all the basics I need for cooking and cleaning too, so no worries there. I figure I’ll play it by ear.

Ooh I assumed you had to move some of your big furniture items over, but if not, then yeah it’s fine to spread out the purchases.

I agree. It’s better to pick out things that you really like and is meaningful to you. Whenever I get my own place, I’d like to put more thought into the furniture/room designs.
