Oh I just finished Oh My Ghost and the couple Chef Kang and Bong Sun is so lovely! Dunno why I waited this long before watching this one, but I guess everything has its own timing. The show is adorb.
I had a crush on Chef-nim 💕💕 I still don’t like how they didn’t show much of Bong Sun scenes without the ghost because it felt like she didn’t spend enough time as herself with Chef-nim.
Well, I guess I have to agree with you on that. I personally think that the person Chef nim actually likes is the ghost and the You are my Sunshine blog thing was just added to make it easier for us the viewers to understand how come Chef nim ended up falling for Bong Sun instead of the ghost.
I share the same opinion as you about Chef-nim and the ghost. She did “all the work” and Chef-nim couldn’t possibly like her because… she’s already dead? The show handled it wrong. The blog wasn’t enough to show he liked Bong Sun. I won’t lie, I’m still salty haha
On Happy Together, Kim Seul Gi said she was supposed to have a kiss scene with Jo Jung Seok. It was a scene of him kissing Park Bo Young and she shoud have switched places in the middle. Girl was so excited (who wouldn’t lol) but the director only filmed PBY and JJS. Since then, I want justice to prevail and see them reunite as lovers.
I can’t agree with you more. The only reason why Chef-nim couldn’t like the ghost because she was already dead, so the show had to do everything in its power to suggest us that he actually fell for Bong-sun because he was originally a fan of her blog… wait What???? Lol
I agree that I would so love to see both of them reunited. Love Kim Seul-gi and her innocent face and gestures. She was such a lovely and lively ghost. I also like the person who played the shaman that always helped the ghost. How their friendship was formed is just lovely.
I always call him “Chef” when I recognize him elsewhere. I liked the backstory/ mystery of the ghost (that was new for me at the time to have a side plot in a different genre-ish), but I do agree that Bong Sun should’ve gotten more screentime. Especially since she was the “host” character
I did the same before remembering his real name lol Bong Sun could’ve worked on her confidence and self-esteem with the ghost’s help and that would have been a satisfying character development.
If you haven’t yet, check out Lookout. Kim Seul-gi and Key are so good, and bring much needed heart and, well, not lightness exactly, but their storyline adds a brightness to this twisty story.
