PT and the gay issue -- That's an interesting perspective. For myself I find that precisely because PT is pretty standard and mindless, I put up with it well. And I'm personally invested in the gay issue too, but because I can't take PT seriously for a second I'm not bothered. If PT tried harder to make serious statements, it would probably rub me up the wrong way.

But I'm just grumpy and hard-to-please this way. Take Still Marry Me -- It took some unconventional routes and made a sincere effort to explore the world of career women juggling work and men, and I know that this spoke to many female viewers. But personally I didn't think it said anything that wasn't already blatantly obvious to one such as I (e.g.," it is more important to love yourself than to find a man who will love you" -- DOH!, or "getting married doesn't solve all your problems" - duh! Or "balancing career aspirations and love-life is not so straight-forward, and sometimes you have to compromise" - er, yeah, I think I've already figured that one out). And so I was kinda left cold by SMM. It seems I'd rather a medium that is designed primarily to entertain not try too hard to make social commentary. But of course, this is just me.

I'm so sad and angry now. A customer complained, saying that she found the exact same thing with what I'm selling at a much lower price than what she paid me previously. I was surprised because the price of the goods are tightly controlled and there's only one supplier for that product in the entire world. Plus the profit margin at that price is almost impossible to believe. Anyhow she was very snooty when I asked her the phone of the seller (planning to check them myself) and said that she only told me so that I know what she knows. Hrhrhrhrhhrrrrrr. There are so many type of person in this world... Bring it on!

Please, please watch BSGS without hesitation. This was my first daily and I went into this with A LOTof hesitation. Over 100 episodes - no kidding! But it has become a drama that I can watch over, over, and over again. The reason: the KJH-HHJ couple is too adorable for words, plus it is a very good family drama. It's funny that I started by skipping the first 20 episodes (ie the marriage of HHJ to Lee Hon/Kim Nam-gil) and getting into the KJH segment right away. If you don't want to spend all that time, you can check out the precis clips in YT under the account of aswmi of all the KJH-HHJ segments in the first half of the drama. Simply delicious watching!

Ep 12 is so, so awesome, isn't it? Whether MW said those words at the end of the episode is to solve the situation or not, this will be the beginning of the romance we've been waiting for so, so long. Yippee! Do you love the sauna scene? I've watched that scene three times already and it got me teared up everytime. Chae Rim and Choi Si-won's chemistry is truly amazing especially given their age difference.

LOL LOL....yes...episode 12 the sauna scene really got me cheering! He looked so handsome with the towel on his head and then when he put his hands over her ears....I thought he was going to kiss her!!!!! I mean....the way he was looking into her eyes and she was looking back at him....didn't that remind you of that first kiss at the refrigerator? Same look!

he looked so "mature" when he walked into the room for the press conference!

BSGS - heh, its been on my radar since.......ep. 2 of MNIKSS when Samsoon is on the blind date with the nice guy and they tease that she must have gotten her hair done by Geum-soon (this is totally 4th wall breaking to the max, I know). 100 or more eps doesn't scare me, its still shorter in total length than Jumong, which I watched in its entirety. And never wish to do so again.

Speaking of Han Hye-jin, she really didn't leave an impression on me in Jumong, but from the BSGS vids, its either her overall look in that drama, or perhaps the sweet, down to earth character, but she's missing her usual frostiness I associate with her. And who knew she and KJH appear to have So Much chemistry, you can totally see it even in YT vids.

Never fret, I'll try to work it into my watch schedule. I know Lee Min-ki plays KJH's brother in BSGS, so if langdon starts, I'll keep her company!

Oops, sorry, I started Mawang already, so Goodbye Solo and PIE will have to wait. Unlike Hero or Tazza, I simply have not the urge, or dare to, FF a single frame of Mawang. Ergo, this is going to take some time for me to finish. I just started ep. 3.

I'm trying so hard to disengage my analytical brain functions and allow myself in enter into the world of Mawang. But I almost shot myself in the foot with CitC in that I spent all my time gasping over the directing and acting and the story never engaged me, and I don't want the same to happen here. It must be clear that I think Mawang is exquisite. I can't even pick out a single flaw, other than there is too much goodness (like CitC) that I fear I can't keep up or I've missed a detail.

So I shant discuss it yet until I've gotten further along. @ serendipity, I'm watching on Chinese subs, I have no clue whether its translations adequately pick up on literary reference appropriately, but I'm sure you can assist me after I'm done. I think I've glimpsed the Gates of Paradise in the preview but not sure. Damn, gotta go dig out my Divine Comedy and Paradise Lost now.

has anyone here watched the movie, Case of the Itaewon Homicide, that stars the guy from You Are Beautiful, Hong Gil Dong and Beethoven's Virus? I just started watching it last night and was really surprised to see Jang Geun Suk!

yeah...I started and checked on certain episodes. It's a very "dark" type of story so I had to put it aside. Jang is pretty evil in that one. totally different character from You're Beautiful and some of the other dramas he's been in.

EJ cant help but bring a first aid kit to his room, she planned to just knock and leave it outside w/o a word, but she sees HS there peeking. She leaves and sulks.

Back to hot shower, on top of looking steaminghot, KH is also having deep thoughts. '8 years....'

HS grabs him as soon as he's decently clothed, she has Hello Kitty problems to consult him, off they head to pavillon. (And I'll show a scene of EJ almost arriving there in her angsting just not to scare children)

KH is bugged, but HS brought makgulli w/ her and he definitely needs some. HS asks him to draw his dream Hello Kitty, he keeps drawing the map of Argentina...w/ a bow. EJ sees the happy drinking scene.

HS: What are you drawing oppa? U think I'm a kid? I cant tell a kitty fr a triangle? I'm not EJ!
EJ: Don't bring me into your convo GHS, It's easy for me to not able to tell apart Hello Kitty or Argentina. I can drop my español, Ushuaia, moonwalking dreams just like that. If things go my way, your oppa would not have a hand. *scowl and fun*

KH notices his perfect gorgeous manly hand holding his makgulli bowl still, and THEN her perfect enunciation of 'español' kicks in, off he goes, throwing the makgulli bowl unintentionally sq on HS's head hence stopping her whining/crying.

EJ pets her pet-pot. KH steps into perfect lighting.
Instead of talking, he sings that Spanish tune but chanting his own words.

He approaches EJ, holds out his perfect hand, w/ his angsty sparkling eye and his whole sparkling self. 'I can't be w/ you. I'm not..human.'
w/ a look, EJ is again very tempted to hug and ravish him. But she quickly focuses on her pet pot again and swings it at KH, shouting:
'U r not human? What's new? Yes, ur wounds magically heal scabless, scarless. So, I can slice u w/o guilt!'

Off she runs, but the commotion wakes up JW. Hesitating in his undies, he raises his head to the full moon, grabbing his baseball bat and runs towards EJ's screaming.

EJ does one of her signature heartbreaking screams, yet she hears a beastly animal prowling behind her. She looks back in her breathtaking scared little girl look a la ep1. It's a wearwolf carrying JW's bat!!! and instantaneously she knows...[We'll also hear her smart neurons snapping] and she realizes KH must be a vampire! (she reads her Twilight, duh)

And right that moment KH sparkles before them in the moonlight, carries her off for a treehopping, leaving JW to kiss the dust in his woofie howls (and in cue Taec's signature chest pumping or whatever that move of his is called)

KH+EJ finally finds the meadow they laid on all these years back and they pour hearts out, drawing hearts. (we can have kissing and making out if we all agree to it) (plot: KH has an English name of René Cullen PIE....)

yah, it kind of blew me away that he's in this really different character, although he was kind of dark in HGD. I like it cuz it shows acting skills, or is it casting skills since lots of actors/actresses are typecast into a certain characters. I stopped watching because I wanted to give it more attention than ready to fall asleep.

I thought Itaewon Murder had an interesting premise and was moderately well-executed. But I very nearly couldn't make it to the end because of Jang Guen Suk's lamentable Engrish. Apart from his language-mangling, though, I thought he did a creditable job. I thought it was a clever choice of role on his part - allowed him to show some acting versatility in a character who is not straight-forward, but who does not have to display too-profound emotional depth either.

JGS is a very good actor....very versatile. Itaewon drama is really dark....he is a very evil character....and so convincing that it's really scary.

If you want something that's really fun and relaxing....Oh My Lady is the one to follow right now. It starts off kinda iffy....but I really got into it and Choi Si-won does a very good job as an actor with terrible acting skills but does great job in a musical with dancing and singing. He's a singer with the group Super Jr. We're into episodes 11 and 12 and there are 16 so we're coming down to the wire now and it's fun!

Unfortunately, I don't have digital reception, nor dvr that I can save whatever is playing and have to rely on getting discs several months after whatever airs and my computer is usually tied up with other things, plus I don't have the patience for streaming sites because of that spinning circle thing for buffering that seems to come up a lot so I can't keep up with everyone's posts on current dramas. Like, I'm only watching QSD right now and can usually able to marathon.
What's good about everyone's posts here is I learn which dramas to get from all the buzz here, like Chuno, Wish Upon a Star, CU, PP, etc., and OML!
I also tend to like sageuk and action type more than romance so all the buzz here clues me in to which romance types are worth watching.

Hmmmm.....I finally got to episode 9 of PP.....velly intelesting! Oi...the date with Yoon....MHR doesn't know when to stop talking! It's like mindless chattering. Then she got motion sickness! LOL LOL.... Yoon still not giving off any indications about his feelings....at least I haven't seen it yet. I got stopped at scene 5 because of Viikii traffic!

I'm gonna stay with Seo In's investigation....it's her father he's after. Has something to do with that construction deal.

That guy who was hiding in her apartment....just another side detraction but that was kinda creepy! His face....isn't he connected to that woman at the restaurant? I'm still trying to figure out why his face is familiar.

I'll go back again when I can get on Viikii.

OML is one heck of a fun drama right now and 4 more episodes before it's finished! I was really laughing last night and cheering!!!!

And Daring Women! Yikes....what a roller coaster ride! Why is it the males always end up drinking when their love life is going haywire? Gosh....

I get regular programming....basic cable which is certain local stations and some other programs like A&E; Travel Channel; Korean; Japanese; I get a lot of stuff through my laptop being on internet.

I don't need a lot of programs on TV because I'm not sitting at the TV that much.

I have time since I don't work anymore. A very good thing which I love!!!!

With Junki getting packed off to MS, I just realized (perhaps I purposely avoided thinking about it), but Binnie is an 82er too! Oh twin-ahhhh, whatever shall we do. The ICOMYM boys are still a tad green and young to step on these guys shoes. But the thought of no dimples for two years......terrifyingly bleak is the outlook. I'm too tired to search but this might be as bad as last year was for the mass MSing. Sob, Samshik is a growed up.

He mistaken the filming of that princess seducing general scene a day early. He got to the makeup at 5am diligently, told a bewildered makeup artist that today was the day he has to hold SS in his arms and was told he got the day wrong.....words got out and of coz he was butt of the joke. Next day they got into characters very easily, and the crew joked, of coz, since YH has been in the mood for it for over a day now.

Auntie Mame posted at Soompi her fantasy ending: MW's musical becoming a great hit with much bigger stardom, the Ex getting return from his investment, and the Director paying off his debts with approaches with many new investors. GH staying working in The Show Company and living with the two girls.

And ... all three guys are fighting to be the "man" in GH's life. She, on the other hand, is fending them off because she thinks ... one is a "brat" ... one is a "b*stard" ... and one is a "bore". lol

I'm not sure about the situation with MW....I don't see her being attracted to him in a romantic way....but who knows about these dramas. He seems to be improving and maturing....but I still get the feeling he was not totally sincere about what he said. Like he was thinking on his feet.

The "bore" will lose if he doesn't wake up and grab a hold of his wife who had hoped he might get jolted.

And b*stard.....well, he's so slimey I cringe when I see his face!

Who knows....ahjumma might surprise us all and pick "brat" because of the situation with his daughter!

Will look forward to how that musical production turns out because I was impressed at MW dancing and even his acting had improved. Actually, he and Super Jr. are really good dancers....good choreography.

I'm cautiously back to civil terms w/ writershi, satisfied w/ what I've seen thus far, I've fewer rants and there r parts reminding me y this drama swept me off my feet in the first place, CU is at its finest when we have complex yet subtle character developments and at least we have plenty for the characters that worry me most namely KH, EJ, HS (don't get me wrong, I do care for all of them...)

Can I just ramble on my OTP? <3

KH redeems himself a bit w/ his VO, while he's looking for the disappeared (w/ mom) EJ, but in no way I'm hugging writer per KH. This should happen in 5, 6...def not ep9. I loved that we got a bit of jealousy mingled w/ genuine selfless well-wishing when he reminisced her smiling in front of JW, how he called her my DEAR, bad stubborn kid (awwww) most lovingly w/ wrenching concern in his head, it's like we turned back time... it was his certainty that she's feelings for him still that prompted that WTF cellar convo and the new jealousy and fear of really losing her (to JW) fueled the urgency for this heated Q&A. I melt at CJM's sad pleading puppy eyes asking if she's got the letter...y didnt she stop him at station *ahhhhswoon*.

I'm completely w/ EJ throwing cold shit at him though. She's in a shocked stupor in btn her cutting jabs. MGY is just gloriously subtle and brilliant, in a split second w/ the tiniest quivers of lips and eyes, I can feel every single emotion as EJ (who needs 3D w/ terrific acting?!?!) ...the wind being knocked out of her and at the same time she's able to grasp a real breath as if for the first time and feel alive again, a tiny disburdenment, a closure and a glint of that love-stricken girl back, yet she has to stern herself, staying true to her conviction - giving up this precious part of herself, for HS, DS and to make this cruel (less insufferable atm)bastard pay. She's still bitter w/ his winecellar WTF speech, even w/ the letter, there's 8 yrs of nth and she braved it thro by shutting herself off any cue bringing back his existence, his return is not unlike tearing a scab off a stubborn wound esp w/ the whole constant HS/KH caring oppa in her face. How about that brutally honest piece of oppa-knows-best in car prior?! lecturing her of not up to HS' ability to connect w/ ppl, loosening them up to spilling beans. I'm sorry I really really hate ppl leaving pissed off girls (or guys) on the road, walking alone and drives off...in the dark!!! but of coz all that is forgotten in my fangirl frenzy when he's there waitn for her all along. *swoon* Also, I'm annoyed he's basically pimping HS. Where's all that righteous talk of good business practice, oppa?! But at least I can go my way of thinking maybe KH always asked HS to tag along on business because he'll be too emotionally strung-out when around EJ?!

But just w/ that sizzling exchange, my OTP is back in full force. I love how the convo escalates. KH clearly saw EJ losing tiny bits of her composure, but no way he's resting on her words alone. He repeatedly asked impossibly direct questions: 'Did u get the letter?' ' U said, u did not get it?' 'So, u got it but still u didnt come get me at the station?' He's trying his darnest to snuff her out and get the answers he most needed to hear, but EJ wont let that happen of coz. And he's a master at how to blatantly lie w/ cutting words yet betraying every intentions w/ physical cues, but he can't help but doubt himself now w/ every repeated blow. EJ's outburst at the end is most telling of all but he's so looking for his answers he's missing it. It also allowed me to be less critical of that pavilion/wine cellar tete a tete fr last episode. EJ was past her tipping point, she knew KH has feelings for her, yet he still messes w/ HS, she's jealous and had enough, cumulating to her outburst and to that KH can only be as cruel as possible to curb her feelings...and the eventual worsening pain he'll be causing her. Here KH is the one past his tipping point, EJ is in KH's shoes trying to keep a lid on it. They r finally at a more equal footing, they r going thro the exact same lvl of angst only the ultimate OTP will experience! Both of them at a very precarious state of balancing their rational and emotional self.

It's EJ/KH FTW (unless writershi left her brain again and desire a horrible death). For a girl like EJ, her tolerance of pain, physical and emotional is off the charts, and deep deep down she's this gooey caring mess so craving every bits of love and for her to have such strong feelings to warrant that cry, it's not just lamenting a love lost. We can only be so irrevocably hurt by ppl most dear to us.

I cant help but feel EJ settling if she ended up w/ JW. It maybe a rational choice to be w/ someone worshipping the dirt u tread and u r comfy w/, but she's tasted love, ground-shaking love, there's no turning back. I'm only fine w/ her choosing to be alone or EJ+KH, sorry woofie!

Well, the brat is too handsome to ignore!! I too think that his last words are not 100% of what he thinks. It could be something on the fly to appease the press but will set off a new relationship for what he said. It will be several long days before Monday comes again.

Aren't we blessed to have so many lovely dramas right now. Just finished Ep 9 of PT and I am very pleased with these last few episodes, as this drama's potential are finally being realised - only if they can do without the cliched evil girl and the over the top music. The best thing about this drama, apart from the main couple of SYJ and LMH, is the gallery curator arc. I will forever be a fan of Ryu Seung Ryong after this! He is just so, so good at playing out his character so succinctly and subtly. (nycgirl - unfortunately, I think your expectation on the gay issues will not be fulfilled, with perhaps the RSR segment being the only saving grace.) SYJ is absolutely fabulous in this episode during those going out scenes with LMH.

I'd really like to see another kiss and this time an agreement one! That first one made my day and was so darn cute!

I pretty much knew Junki was not going to be able to do Faith, gut feeling, but dropping out of Grand Prix was out of left field. Though I'm no fan of KTH, an in the long run am probably fine with this, I was still wanting to watch the movie. Alas, I'll wait patiently for my Junki to come back.

As for Binnie, I'm just sad we won't get any PICTURES of him and his dimples for two years. His work product I've long since given up on. I prefer mainstream fare and he gravitates towards the eclectic. MNIKSS, to be honest, reaks of quirky cult hit (I'm sure its what attracted him), except it was NOT and turned into this massive breaking 50s(?) rating juggernaut, and turned him into a reluctant idol. Binnie reminds me of a Johnny Depp. His dramas, from Ireland to Snow Queen to WW to Friends, other than MNIKSS, are all very different and really not for everyone. I'll save Friends and also save finishing WW after he's off to MS, for nostalgia sake.

But a whole cache of men are getting released at the end of this year, I believe, or maybe beginning of next year. Both Kim Wons, the Jos (In-sung and Hyun-jae), Jae Hee, I'm sure I've left out a bunch. I'm always curious about post-MS first projects, GY is such a tease, his still not done diddly except for his gorgeous CMs.

Oh, and last, but never least, our loverboy is sosososososo cute! Even his gaffes are cute. What can I say, he and SS need to just throw caution to the wind and admit their feelings for each other already. Dying for CtW! Heh, I still remember them talking about filming the romantic scenes in LoCH2008, hee, I'm giggling like school girl, gah.

Now I hate GHS's performance as Jan-di even more, because it caused the delay of over one entire year for me to witness the confirmation and crowning of Min-ho as a rocking, I mean my boat was rocked, my heart skipped three beats, my jaw was open, and I gasped! out loud kind of kisser. The Jun-pyo/Jan-di kisses were like wet dead fish. Today I saw hallelujah stars exploding kinda kiss. Ooops, forgot Tamra, our Park Kyu is quite a kisser as well, too bad he got slapped for it.

Anyways, back to PT, after Chuno and WUAS, I'm sick and tired of leading couples NOT getting together or barely doing anything until the very end of a drama. Thank god PT came along to remind me that yes, kdrama rom-coms can still deliver the goods. Unless PT takes a nose-dive (I doubt it, it keeps getting better and better), I officially think its surpassed Hotaru no Hikari. And PT has so many emotional beats, its making me feel the same tug at the heartstrings emotion that I crave in my kdramas.

Sigh, that kiss, you guys have to see it. Wow.

Meantime, watched Sunaoni naranakute Ep3. with my house mate(we are hosting this seminar together, she's my best GF as well)I really like the script writer, her main characters(all young gentle souls of some sort) and story telling are very real and alive. I love the way they talk to each other, Oh and saw Eita on a talk show after the drama, he's so normal and adorable. We were both working as we were watching and that was the reason I couldn't finish what I was doing earlier. TV!! It's addictive(no TV at my own home and I'm still addicted to all K dramas)

But one certainty is that I'm so in HATE with IW right now. The guy can sob into his drink like nothing I've ever seen before, I'm talking big, painful, man sobs! I could have sympathised with him, yet his words were pure poison! Seo In-woo! Why you wretched bas***d!!!
Go sob yourself to death, I have no sympathy for you anymore.

Sorry guys, I'm so angry at 9, I just needed to vent it out before watching 10, which will only be worse. *aaargh!! Tears hair out, stomps feet*
Sorry, I still haven't gotten it all out.

This show makes me *ache*! My own fault. I think after the express-paced OBGYN it'll be a while till I can adapt to watching slower paced shows of the Pasta and PT variety, they're understated gems but just don't have the *anng...bites into imaginary burger* meatiness that I have an appetite for. PP is my crack, it has the right pacing for me and so much fun, so much suspense, but overall a really grueling, heart-wrenching watch. I hate how much the characters affect me.
(NOTE TO SELF: IT'S JUST A FRIGGIN' DRAMA!)

The 3-Iron-esque intruder part was absolutely hilarious! It was just a small part which seemed to have been shoehorned in to balance out the angst. Especially loved the part where he says ''it was wonderful how I was able to lose 3kgs in 3 days'', after living off Hye-ri's rabbit food (seriously those carrot sticks look so freakin' devourable already!), then the revelation bout him using her used towels to which she responds by giving him a good smack around the head.

@eiko: Yes, the guy does look familiar but this is his first appearance on PP. You'll have recognised him as the chief anaesthetist from OBGYN, the one that Wang and Ahn pwned over - giving us some LOL moments. He was also in WISFC as the evil, scumbag tearoom boss, because of whom Kang Jin lost his pendant in the river thus triggering the story's tragic chain of events. So yes, you will recognise the face.
But I too think this guy is either on Mr Ma's or our Lawyer Seo's payroll. Hmmm! Too many questions, so little answers. *tears out hair again*

I found the faux-date quite upsetting, and all the dialogue quite heart-rending. I won't dissect it now as I wouldn't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.
When he notices her looking uncomfortable and eyeing her warily he asks: ''Where does it hurt?'' (aww! I ::wuv:: that HIM so much!) I was like ''her heart! Her heart hurts!'' (sniff!)
And then later his smile was v. significant, I think that's actually the first time he's smiled since his wife died. Good work unni, you are steadily making inroads into his heart, you're almost there, almost there.

Ever since you mentioned BoA's Did it for love associating it with the IW/HR relationship dynamic, I can't get it out of my head everytime they're together, it doesn't help they're already so battle-weary with each other, yet the fun is only just starting. (HR - Just KILLL him! Just do it!)

Also...I thought prosecutor female looked really pretty dressed up and no dark rimmed glasses. She also looked really happy walking there where the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. I was laughing when Yoon and Ma were there and she made overtures about holding hands, etc. Then later when she got motion sickness and threw up!!! LOL LOL....man, I would have died first having to go through an ordeal like that!

Also....that scene where MHR mother was doing the third degree with questions and Ma was answering....it looked like IW was affected by her answers. I don't think he was expecting to hear her say those things about him.....I thought it was really sweet the way she smiled and acted very shy. I know he was upset because he scolded her for accepting everything at face value instead of checking it out. I believe his HEART was affected more than anything else. He's been putting on that facade of being real cool and helping her with Yoon....will be interesting to see what's with ep 10!

Also...thanks, yep, that guy was in OBGYN....all these faces coming fast and furious in various dramas! OBGYN airing right now also....repeat of what was on last night.

A new drama also started Wife Is Back....100 episodes....and it's only around 4 or 6 and we've hit the big bang in the gut of the story! 2nd female lead was JO Guk's fiancee in City Hall!!! Me thinks she might end up being nasty cause she is acting just a tad toooo sweet! :-)

This episode is clearly sister-centric. We begin the ep w/ the whole Mom/Jang fiasco. there's a 3 way pouring guts later on at a scenic gazebo that I skipped. (I'm sure it's good, but need my OTP fix :P)

The ep proper: EJ left a note saying she'll be out at the lab and DS calls for a massive search. DS has the fear of her leaving constantly, she's never put him into any worry though, but now after her failed experiment, the note triggers a frenzy. There is a relief on HS face, not callous but her world will be simplier w/o EJ and these 2 sisters do know each other well she's not as worried for the tenacious EJ.

KH is not as worried as DS as well. He has faith she's an unbelievably stronger cookie, he's also taking in the moment to breathe her presence in her room, no frills, no lipstick, not a sign of anything girly, his heart tightened a bit at her presumed dull existence for a 26 yo (!! thot the girls r 24 max!!) He's a mix of relief/jealous/sweet well-wishing when he reminisced her smiling at JW...walking into his dorm rm, he cant help but wonder if JW is somewhere making EJ laugh. Then as fate would have it, the bat falls on gd and he cant take his mind off the inscription 'SEJ will always be HJW's woman' He does not register the whole scene w/ HS happying herself w/ that piece of info EJ and JW has a history way before she's GEJ. Her bubble dissipates w/ the angst written all over his face as he walks off, ignoring her entirely.

She seeks comfort in her treasure trove...picture of her mom..and that letter. (the text's not the same as the one we saw in ep4, maybe a booboo on set?!)
KH: 'Come...and make me stay? If u come and I can stop...before I get on the train...ask me to stay...EJ-ah...'
The current angsting KH: 'my dear bad girl, I know u have a heart of steel. Still it shocked me u were unfazed w/ my begging.'

plot: Their rice supply is on a halt abruptly, and there's a looming deadline for the J orders. EJ spits blunt facts at rice supplier, HS goes the OPW drinking way w/ the ajusshi she's known since a kid...and got info out of who's got the rice fr them.
(I'm disturbed w/ KH just letting HS drinks w/ the ajusshi and sitting there pretty)
It's dark on the drive back, but EJ insisted on armwrestling to get the rice. KH gives his 'warm' lecture, HS' injected w/ some OPW asking for confirmation fr oppa a drinking job well done. And KH caves in. EJ's enough and stops the car. KH really dumps her in the middle of nowhere in darkness. (ARGH!)

That's followed by my previously mentioned scene I <3. I rewatched it. <3ing it more. Ej consiously made the decision to protect HS and to excuse herself fr the love triangle evolving. It's not just good old self sacrifacing, but for EJ, nth pulls her more deeply than family, she must've given up hope of having any familial stability long ago, and she knew ever so well how fragile it can be when her mom's involved. She's willing to hurt an obviously drowning KH to take the blame, suffer herself, to keep HS' deed w/ letter a secret.

MGY = absolutely terrific. I cant mess w/ her crying scene right after w/ my words. Even just for her scenes, we need HD
I'll skip some scenes, we've 1 w/ puppy TW making EJ drink some soothing concoction in front of him, and he sipped the rest of it waggingly, an obvious indirect kiss?! It's getting very 1 note cute w/ JW and it's beginning to bore me tbh. (though I like he puts the safety belt for her being the chaffeur to the bank)

Plot: The rice will now cost them triple, HS insists on calling it quit on the orders and will tell the vacationing dad (w/ mom). EJ insists on following thro even w/ loss and def. not telling Dad, trying to get a loan fr the banks. (JW offered his life savings, yes awww, but it's so predictable now)
The sisters headbutts more at home. HS spins into who loves daddy more..EJ safeguarding her share...'stealing' what's HS, probing EJ's intention tactlessly.

EJ: ' I can tolerate u all along because u r your dad's daughter, so CHILDISH and DREADFUL. I'm going nuts because u r so childish and caused a bloody awful result!' HS grabbed EJ's arm and wouldn't let go till she explains her words.
'The letter, u kept it instead of giving it to me. That's y it's dreadful for me now to stand near you, but I'll let it go because u r your dad's daughter' Hinch is she's been caring for HS more than that. She shed a tear when she told HS she took away her very first... but she'll let it go. She's no interest in involving herself in a love triangle btn 2 sisters. To that (I bet a first) HS deflates, lets go, and feels for EJ. EJ one upped her w/, 'BTW, that person hasn't gotten over me, how interesting.'

Then we have KH praising the value of EJ and her yeast all 'business-like' in front of his papa. He asks shady pop to loan the $ instead of letting others getting a share of the DS pie.(it's OTP <3 imo, I dont care)

With the loan, they celebrate. EJ wants to head back to her lab, but HS threatens her 'for dad's sake, or I'll kill u!'
Lunch turns into a drinking warzone btn the sisters. (and the OTP moment: KH is finally protective of EJ, asking HS to stop it since EJ cant drink)
in a drunk stupor or not, it's a frank exchange btn them. HS keeps asking EJ to move out of her home and other demands. EJ keeps denying, she's beyond weary of HS, w/o her usual constraints, EJ also puts things bluntly, if HS' keeps insisting on the fighting, she's not going to win, and she can really rob her of everything, her dad, the man she loves.. but they may say the darnest hurtful thing... they have developed a subtle coexistance and bonds.

More trouble on the business end. The J company is a shell company. DS physically shakened (sobsobsob) KH called the devils (w/ a landline... no cell phone?!?!?) DS overheard the caustic convo w/ evil bigbro, learning KH's own brother is the mastermind behind it all. Evil bro HAS to make a followup call, picked up by DS...spilling KH and dad's plan to takeover DS.

(sobsobsobsobsobsobsobsobsobsob) just watch the ep.. I'm devastated. :( :( :( :(

OMG ! the last 2 minutes of ep.10 PT is the best ! GAME OVER baby!

Glad you guys are enjoying the updates. Unlike CU, PT does't really have any plot momentum, so PT really needs to be watched purely for the character-driven interactions.. The gay/not-gay misunderstanding and the art museum project are all throwaways. Really, its about two people finding him/her self through the other person. Its perhaps a soulmates type of rom-com, but doesn't fit any criteria other than LMH-SYJ truly magically make me care about their character. Even more than their romance, I care about Jin-ho and Kae-in. All the lovely beats in the drama feel light and airy on the surface but soaks you through with its impact.

LMH picked a perfect followup project. Seriously, all the dramas that aired last year, I can't picture him doing any of them. PT was just waiting for him. His Jin-ho is so vulnerable and tightly-wound.

I melted with the boat lunch and then the walk under the cherry trees. They've done 2 out of the 33. Will we get to see the other 31???? Prosecutor Yoon's smile is so rare but 'impactful'. I never think I'd like KSY's character but HR is just one gorgeous woman with unplugged potential as well as a big heart!

I love the loss of 3 kilos in 3 days and then the used towel is really the last draw.

To be fair to SIW, they better clear up the mystery asap now that HR's father is painted in the picture. Will have to go home and watch Ep 10.

I'd still maintain the view that PP is the best made in terms of directing, editing and pacing among PP, PT and OML (although OML remains my favorite).

I didn't get to see Ep 10 but got to see that last scene that everyone is talking about. Thought that scene would be so much more enjoyable if watching the whole episode in one go to get the emotional built-up.

Honestly, if this drama is in the better hands of another PD, it would be so much better. It is still enjoyable (from Ep 6) but a waste of SYJ's and LMH's fine performance - like too much garnish spoiling the taste of the main ingredients. This story content with Pasta treatment would be a treat to us all. Let's see if the remaining episodes will raise the game. You know, it could very well be another Coffee Prince type of hit but the opportunity is missed.

Your expressed my sentiment. I feel exactly the same way. PT is fantasitcal magic portion for me.

It's been a long day, getting ready for tomorrow. Still, when we went to Akihabara looking for a projector, we also saw Uniquro clothing store. In we went, spent more than one hour trying on plenty of things and ended up buying some new stuff. That was the only fun part. Rest got all messed up since I forgot to convert my Pages(iwork thing) file(don't even know what it is called) to PDF before taking off to Fedex Kinkos, everything started to get delayed from that point on... I'm still behind.
