End-of-year army enlistment for Kim Ji-hoon

Get ready to lose another one: Kim Ji-hoon expects to begin his military service in the coming months. Sigh.

He explained at the August 13 press conference for his new drama, sci-fi sageuk show Joseon X-Files, that he hasn’t finalized the date yet. However, time is running out for the 29-year-old so we can expect it’ll be sooner rather than later. That also means that Joseon X-Files will be his last project before enlistment.

On a purely shallow note (which it’s easy to hit when we’re talking about Kim Ji-hoon), this is my favorite look on him, which is a recent photo from the press conference two days ago. Most of his recent roles have featured him looking crisp and clean-cut (Golden Age of the Daughter-in-Law, Love & Marriage, Wish Upon a Star), but I love him just a little rumpled and scruffy. That’s some fantastic bedroom hair, and can I point out that his shirt is gaping open? That gives me Thoughts. If you know what I’m sayin’.

My interest in Kim Ji Hoon has only recently been grasped, but damn he is a mighty FINE actor. He just needs better opportunity because he has the acting chops and looks. Why does he have to leave now? Two years seem too long. Yes loves his scrappy look so much, just want to comb my hands through his hair hehehe.
