Park Shin-yang’s drama comeback

Actor Park Shin-yang (Painter of the Wind, Lovers in Paris, The Letter) is making his drama comeback after a two-year hiatus.
Park faced some legal trouble with the Drama Association (a pay dispute regarding 2007’s War of Money) and was forced to take a hiatus. He’s returning after a two-year break, and the new project’s production company has no affiliation with the Drama Association, leaving Park in the clear.
His comeback vehicle will be Heaven, a medical investigation drama, where Park will play the nation’s top forensic doctor. He will, of course, have quirks and an odd personality, to offset the awesome internationally-acclaimed doctor part.
Not a terribly new character, for those of us who grew up on procedurals, but Park’s an established actor with a broad range. If anyone can convincingly do ‘mad scientist,’ it’s this guy. The character is described as wary of others and untrusting, but as he starts to collide with the real world, other facets of his personality will emerge.
The rest of the casting is underway, and Heaven plans to start shooting in November.

finally a GREAT ACTOR is back. his filipino fans are so excited for his new series. we are all waiting for his comeback! he is such a great actor... a one in a million.. he will always be my fave korean actor!

yes! loved him in Lover in Paris (though the series ending was ambiguous at best) and also he was Brilliant in Hi, Dharma! now started Painter of Wind and am happy to see him again

Not many news about park. I have finished watching his latest sign. Very good drama and rating v. Good in Korea too! I cannot wait to see him filming lovers in Paris alike drama again. Pls give park more work!
