Why does Hyuk Ki need to wear the most tapered tuxedo pants in the history of kdrama to show off his boots WHY WHYYYYY. Of course, we'd be oblivious to this had they not specifically showed it off like it was a good idea. He's been wearing ankle-hugging boot-showing pants most of the show.

Boots with a tuxedo? Oh. How daring of you.
But it's okay, I'll let these pants slide because your worst disaster is wearing the grandma-sweater with faces on it. Even a gay man invited to the ugliest-sweater-ever themed party packed with the drunkest people around wouldn't want to wear that atrocity.

One wonders whether I spend too much time debating these clothing choices. ....You know that answer is yes.

I watched it again in HD only to realize he had actually tucked his tuxedo pants into his boots. (long, long sigh)

ok TOTALLY random question for anyone who could possibly help me ha...

i've been itching to watch 2009's Friend, Our Legend recently because SG has renewed my love for Binnie and i heard that was a good (intense) show. I tried watching it streaming but there's a lot that's censored... say the fighting in the first, oh, 3 minutes of the show. it's all blurred out. does anyone know if this is only present in the streaming versions or if it's all censored in the DL version as well? I'm totally willing to DL the HD versions and all, but i don't think i can sit thru 20 eps of blurry videos...

anyone know? thanks in advance OTers!!

The blurriness stops after ep2, its mostly in ep1 actually. The violence dies down considerably after the time jump. I don't recall the blurring bothering me terribly after ep1, where it was used so often I could barely see half the screen.

Enjoy your FOL watch. I was just chatting about it with Mr. X yesterday, and remarking that I'm still to chicken shit to finish this thing.

After Samsooki's ode to episode 19 ripping his guts out or something along those lines, and me crying buckets up to episode 17, not sure if I can make it to the finish line.

FOL is hands down Binnie's best performance in any drama.

I would rate Binnie performances as thus: FOL, then Ireland, then MNIKSS, then Snow Queen, and finally SG, where he is terribly uneven.

oh thank you thank you :) i seriously only watched about 5 or 6 minutes of the first ep and i was like, ok i can't handle this blurriness cuz i can't see ANYTHING!! but if it's only the first couple then i'm ok :D

yes, i recall Samsooki talking about the soul killing ep 19 and i'm frightened for the time that comes for me.. but seeing Binnie in a non-romcom role gets me very excited. And I really have heard nothing but good things about his performance in FOL.

I actually like Binnie in SG... maybe just because the chemistry between Binnie and HJW is so ridic and his lil crazy quirks just get to me... And he is so darn hot. Yes, I'm that shallow lol
