Drama viewership ratings for the week of Oct. 31-Nov. 6, 2022

It’s been a quiet week in ratings, with many broadcasts cancelled during South Korea’s week of mourning. That being said, the show did go on for a good number of our dramas, and we saw Mental Coach Jegal and Blind end with a finale bump, while Curtain Call premiered high only to fall dramatically the following night.

The reason for Curtain Call's dramatic fall is because of the Korea Baseball Organization playoffs.

Thanks for explaining I was wondering what happened. My understanding is that baseball will impact on Cheer up so they only have one episode this week so I wonder if that is going to be an issue For Curtain Call this week again.

Yes, the 2nd episode aired about an hour later than usual, because of the ballgame. That'll hurt any show's viewership.

Sadly, GAUS ELECTRONICS never did get the love it deserved.

On the other hand, ratings have begun to rise for THREE BOLD SIBLINGS as the weekender has finally blossomed inter a weekender. ML's little sister has been left at the altar as her fiancé always intended- as his paranoid 'revenge' against the ML for fiancé's failure as an actor. But not before little sister had dumped a pail of water on FL's head. Meanwhile the ML's little sister has unintentionally charmed the socks off of the CEO of a major company- who just happens to be the father of her former student that her ex abandoned her for. If you thought the age gap in YOUNG LADY AND GENTLEMAN was big try adding about five years. Lots of fun stuff is happening now, so buckle up the ride has just begun.

So FL little sister will become the mother in law to her ex fiancé! Yes, it’s a drama but really….
ML little sister is still acting like a prepubescent child it’s so annoying.

ML's little sister is supposed to be annoying.

I have a feeling that FL's little sister will be a good stepmom to her new stepdaughter and rescue her from foolishly marrying the total jerk who was once her fiancé.

I know, there are always over the top annoying characters in weekend dramas especially, it’s just a shame the women get childish, loud roles and the men get subtle.

Exhibit A extra behaviour of the ML’s sister, all mother in laws if they don’t like someone, the undercover spy operation by ex fiancée of the FL’s brother and the Ajumma wars.

Exhibit B game playing approach by the cousin’s husband literally biting the hand that feeds them, the second rate actor guaranteeing maximum shame and the ex fiancé potential son in law.
The battle of the cut noodles was funny, the bucket of water in the toilets was just wrong. It’s 2022 and we still don’t have other ways to raise the ratings😬

Curtain Call had good premiere ratings and the momentum is ruined by baseball. I see it settling in the 6-7 percent range.

Under the Queen's Umbrella will continue to rise.

I'm going to miss Gaus Electronics. This is one show where I kind of wish the ratings had been good enough for a S2.
