None of these was as good as Idol: the Coup, Dali and Gamjatang, or Imitation, all of which I watched in 2022.

Late to the party but for my own records...
I watched 14 shows this year (dropped so many) and here goes my bean count:
♦♦♦♦♦♦: 6 beans to "25-21". I thought it was such a well-done show, full of lessons about youth, grit, relationships, and just life! I loved it and I am amongst the few who thought the ending was just perfect.
♦♦♦♦: 4 beans for "extraordinary attorney woo". It was a great show on beating the odds, and Park Eun Bin did an incredible job.
♦♦ : 2 beans for "our blues". Again, amongst the few beanies who loved it. Some stories were poignant and very relatable to me, some dragged, but overall I loved how it depicted life, the lows and the highs of life!
♦: 1 bean to "my liberation notes". This was to be my favorite this year; it reminded me of "my ajhussi" when I first started watching it. And then, towards the end, it just felt...confusing about the message it was trying to send. But, still great drama about existentialism.
♦ : 1 bean for "Alchemy of souls" which was such a beautiful drama, very appealing to the eye, and interesting. One bean because I didn't particularly learn anything from it. It was just good good entertainment.

I don’t see crazy love on the list but I’m pretty sure it aired in 2022

Sooo...Do I get to count non-Korean dramas? And do short web dramas also count?

I watched 38 dramas this year but only 10 of them were Korean, with the bulk of the remainder being Chinese.

My five favorite dramas of 2022 were:

• A Business Proposal (Korean)

oops, my comment did not get through. Here's take 2. I said I am quite late for this, but hey, I'm still part of d-beanie family. So here goes my beans-- a measly 7. 2 Beans each for Atty Woo and 2521; 1 each for My Liberation Notes; A Business Proposal and Our Beloved Summer. I dropped 5.

I was finally able to travel a bit during the past few weeks, so I'm late to this party. But I'd like to add my count here as well. I only have 14 beans this year, though this might go up to at least 16 by year-end once I'm caught up with my current shows. I'm still binging back episodes of Curtain Call and Alchemy of Souls 2.

My only criterion for the assignment of beans here is -- did the show capture my interest enough that I still remember most of it--plot and characters--long after the last episode?

I watched at least twice as many dramas this year (it's still 2022 here!) than the ones I could count because I watched a lot of older ones as well. My bean criteria was how well I remembered a drama later: if I can recall details and emotions, they earned more. And The Silent Sea, though one of his weaker shows, still earned a bean because of my bias Gong Yoo!
