This week, Payback and Agency premiere on great numbers, but a lot of the attention this weekend — rightfully — went to the Alchemy of Souls finale. Soooo close to double digits. Meanwhile, Red Balloon continues to climb, making me wonder if I should pick it back up…

THREE BOLD SIBLINGS is still struggling. The writer does things differently and it shows in a lower audience.
My wife liked BRAIN WORKS, and it did not do badly for a Monday/Tuesday show.

I like the second couple in Three Bold Siblings. The lead actor Kim Seung Su is 20 yrs older than Kim So Eun, but they match well oddly. I think it helps he has this calm and kind vibe, and she is also more level-headed. This is from the montages/clips I've seen lol.

They actually won the Best Couple Award at the KBS Drama Awards (even though they haven't quite really become a couple yet).

Happy for Alchemy of Souls 2 even if i wanted for them to reach the 2 digits they all did an amazing job!

Red Balloon's plot is so far all kinds of mess from what I read in MDL.
But I think majority of the viewers are liking it so far.
For me, it is definitely interesting despite being frustrating(expected from a Majkang/Family drama) so I will continue to watch it

Ratings/Reviews in MDL, Asianwiki even DB are generally subjective(based on how they like the plot/story, favorite actors/actress) vs Nielsen ratings which measures the actual number of TV viewership.
Red Balloon's decent Nielsen ratings means a lot of South Koreans enjoy watching makjang dramas I guess.
While I am a big SJH fan and she is great so far in her role, I am not particularly raving about this drama.
But I will continue to watch just for her.

Yay! I'm so happy for Payback.
I wish Trolley's ratings rise a little bit more.
I wonder how it will change for Brain Works. I didn't like the first episode, but I really enjoyed the second one, so I hope it keeps these numbers.
