I've already written a review on the drama page, but I can't recommend this show enough for people who enjoy strong female leads succeeding on their own terms. The narrative is quite good, the characters were all well-developed, and the subplots didn't go too crazy. There's a lot of "evil" office politics that our heroine has to endure, but otherwise it was a satisfying one to watch.

My only complaint is that the ending was a bit of a letdown because she doesn't stay in her well-deserved success for "health reasons." Honestly, I could've done without another otherwise perfectly executed drama portraying illness in a young professional female. You'd think Korean people, and particularly Korean women, are sickly given how often this trope is used.

Otherwise, this is the first recent drama that I really enjoyed in a very long time.

No romance in the main lead but there’s great chemistry and tension between the second leads. Worth Watching!

Underrated, It's way more compelling than I anticipated it to be!

This is one of the few 2023 K dramas that I watched thoroughly without any complaints or rants. I enjoy strong female leads succeeding on their own terms. Although the premise doesn’t sound innovative, the interesting take here is that our female lead herself was depressed from trauma and drug dependence. The writers went all in on addressing the mental health toll of high-stress, competitive work environments. It highlights that in a system that uses people for profit, no one can survive unscathed. No romance in the main lead but there’s great chemistry and tension between the second leads. I ended up finding their dynamics more compelling than I anticipated, thanks to the remarkable performance of Lee Bo Young, Son Na Eun, and Han Joon Woo.

The narrative is good, the characters are all well-developed, and the plot doesn't go extreme. Personally, I thought the first four episodes were binge-worthy, then it got a bit slow until ep 11, where my mind wandered for the lack of satisfying moments, they left me feeling a bit unsatisfied with what just happened. But then from episodes 12 to 16, I thought it was absolutely fantastic! I was much more emotionally engaged. The finale was neatly wrapped up and every single arc felt satisfying to me.
