Kim Haneul, Yeon Woo-jin, Jang Seung-jo
- According to reports, KBS has lined up their main cast for the new mystery Let’s Get Grabbed by the Collar, which stars Kim Haneul (Kill Heel), Yeon Woo-jin (Thirty-Nine), and Jang Seung-jo (Can We Be Strangers). With production led by PD Lee Ho and writer Bae Soo-young, filming is set to begin later this year and is aiming to broadcast in early 2024. [Star News]
- New character posters have dropped for JTBC’s Behind Your Touch, showcasing leads Han Ji-min (Yonder), Lee Min-ki (My Liberation Notes), and Suho (Rich Man). With each declaring that their hands, ambition, and face – respectively – are all innocent, the fantasy rom-com begins investigations on August 12. [JTBC]
- Lee Se-young (The Law Cafe) is considering an offer for a new romance called Things that Come After Love (roughly translated), acting opposite Japanese actor Sakaguchi Kentaro (Dr. Chocolate). Based on a bestselling novel co-written by Gong Ji-young and Tsuji Hitonari, filmmaker Moon Hyun-sung (Seoul Vibe, The King’s Case Note) is attached to direct, marking his drama debut. [JTBC, News1]
- Yoo Seung-ho (Moonshine) is in talks for a starring role in I’m Home, a cozy new series about found family. Production is still in the early stages with PD Ra Ha-na (Green Mothers’ Club, Sunbae Don’t Put on that Lipstick) directing. - Over on TVING, Ra Mi-ran (The Good Bad Mother) and Eom Ji-won (Little Women) are locked and ready to go in the newest poster for Cold Blooded Intern. Premiering next month on August 11, PD Han Sang-jae (You Who Forgot Poetry, Rude Miss Young-ae) is at the helm with scripts penned by Park Yeon-kyung (The Sound of Your Heart Reboot). [News1]
- Continuing to hark back to the yesteryears, KBS released an old-school style illustrated poster for their upcoming My Lovely Boxer. Starring Lee Sang-yub (Eve), Kim So-hye (How to Buy a Friend), Winner’s Kim Jin-woo (Love for a Thousand More), and Park Ji-hwan (Our Blues) among others, the sports drama will be launching on August 21. I’m home and Things that come after love are going on the long list as potential watches. Cold blooded intern is a question mark at this point content sounds ok but the title raises concern. My lovely boxer still looks promising.

Yeon Woojin! He deserves not to have that stinker - “Thirty Nine” - follow him around. He was so good in “Queen for Seven Days”. I hope he gets a great role soon.

But I liked his cameo in 39…maybe the only thing I liked. And how great was he in Marriage Not Dating? And Arang. And Divorce Lawyer. Judge vs Judge as @Bunny mentioned. His cameos in Search and Undercover. Didn’t finish Priest but he was good there, too.
I’ll endure and ignore Kim Haneul to watch Yeon Woojin and Jang Seungho. Please I want one of them—either one!—to be the very very bad guy.

Oh, I love when they mix different countries in drama! I really liked Ru: Taiwan Express with Japanese people helping Taiwan to build their train express line. I like both Lee Se-young and Sakaguchi Kentaro!
Yoo Seung-ho is back! How to not love the theme about found family? I really like the PD too.

1. I am a fan of JSJ, so this has piqued my interest. YWJ and KHN are both hit or miss for me.
2. I am still iffy on this, but will probably check it out. I also really want them to stop the over filtering on HJM's face.
3. So will it be in Korean or Japanese or both. How are they communicating? That being said I love LSY so will try for her. I know nothing about my new handsome Japanese friend though.
4. Who doesn't like a found family!!!

No. 6. KBS’s MY LOVELY BOXER. For US viewers there is some positive news. MLB is on Kocowa’s “Coming Soon” list. Hopefully it will appear also on Viki US’s “Coming Soon” list.

Yeon Woo-jin and Jang Seung-jo both in one show? I will watch at least one episode.
And I am also looking forward to "Things that Come After Love". I love Lee Se Young but Kentaro is an awesome surprise!
I am also going to give a shot to My lovely boxer. Lee Sang Yub is looking too fine in that poster. (I really like this actor)
I am not going to talk about Lee Min Ki anymore (Just shown him to my husband and told him that he is my crush, he is so used to my crushes now that he just rolls his eyes)
