The series was like a roller coaster ride of twists and turns, turning average people into minor superhero characterizations. This is not a direct mystery story or criminal procedural show but an examination of the dark side of human behaviors. Pros: Pure entertainment. Good escapism. Cons: Almost too much plot to handle. FL had a lot of personal baggage and strikes against her. Overall, I would recommend it to any crime thrill seeker.

@welh640 If you were to propose a viewing tactic for Hide for those of us (say) who started but couldn't persist, what would it be? Watch it in a binge front to end? Watch every other episode, diligently, starting from 2? 2x watch? FF certain scenes/character pairings?? Or is it that it might just not be our speed if we're asking such questions?

There is really too much information to skip scenes.
I guess that some people got stuck on pause because in reality most of the characters are terrible people who have done terrible things. That is the overriding theme which may not be someone's cup of tea.
