For me, this drama was an off-putting narrative mess for the first 4 episodes, a delight of possibilities and expectations for the middle 4 episodes, and a disappointing narrative mess for the last 4 episodes.

If your expectations are low and/or if you're binge-watching, it may be worth your time for sure as, while I have been left with a bad taste in my mouth after this live-watch, there were lots of little things to appreciate. The leads, for example, have much to recommend them and many of us are looking forward to seeing more from them.

If I were to make a comparison to a similarly messy drama, it'd be to Bora, Deborah!, and if I were to suggest a more successful drama in this mold of dealing with hidden identities, it'd be either Her Private Life or Business Proposal.

I'm kind of loving this drama, and have been avoiding the last episode because...I'm sad that it's all over. Sometimes 12 episodes go by too fast.

But overall: it felt like the writers did something that isn't common anymore. Things escalated so fast after the meet-cute that I could barely keep up (AND I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT)! And then once we got to our midpoint and "all hope is lost" beats of the story...well...everything was so intense and interesting. I think a lot of kdramas have been scared to do that lately (they usually play it safe), so it was almost refreshing because it means the feels were intense. I think the pay off in episode 12 will be really refreshing because of it all.

Plus...the male lead is REALLY good at expressions. This actor should have more roles with emotional depth because he's THAT good at it. Anyways prepare to cry when he does because it looks real.

And webmaster-nim, if this isn't okay - feel free to email me or edit this, but if people are as excited as me and want MORE recaps and thoughts than your fab team have posted, I've also got a recap/review posted on my small blog, here at: https://shandeliarivers.com/kdrama-wedding-impossible-ep7-8-recap/

Cute but bland. I loved the women in this show. Our female lead is feisty, independent and has the integrity to live by her principles no matter what it costs her. Though she didn’t get much development, the 2FL was sympathetic and likable. And despite playing an antagonist, I really felt empathy for the Choi sister. She was smart, ambitious and clearly the best choice to run Grandpa’s company and yet she was constantly overlooked and condescended to by the men in her life. The fact that she wasn’t truly evil in any of her actions made me feel like she deserved better. I wouldn’t mind watching her in a spin off being a complete corporate boss!

I’ve never seen Moon Sang Min in anything before, but he completely charmed me with his character portrayal. His bickering dynamic and sharp repartee with the heroine which later morphs into a man who turns into complete mush with a sweet smile when he falls in love was adorable.

The rest of the characters and side plots weren’t all that interesting. And I really, really wished we had gotten more of our fake love triangle trio together. I LOVED how protective and loyal they all ultimately were to each other.

For me, this was blasely. I guess I'm not a fan of the MFL. She had 2 facial expressions, serious and seriously smiling or was it smiling seriously? This story was ok and I think could have been better but I had to make myself finish it. Its like they were just walking through the motions while saying their lines. I am happy for those who liked it, it just didn't hit right for me. Lacking emotions I could feel? Maybe the writing just didn't come alive for me.
