I get that his colleagues had nice intentionss, but if it were me i would be annoyed a little because i would rather spend my Birthday with my firends.
I would have been hella pissed to get a call and it turns out to be this. While I’d understand my colleagues wanted to celebrate me and that it’s a nice thing to do, in that moment, I would not have appreciated their gesture.
