About 15 years ago in the Philippines, I would watch this drama at home with my sister and neighbor every afternoon. It was our daily routine. What a simple time that was. I admired the tenacity and kindness of poor Mara. I loathed the nasty attitude of rich Clara, specially knowing she was switch at birth with Mara. Then she had the audacity to steal Mara’s suitor. How dare you, Clara?

What a spectacular career she has had. From a child star to one of the finest actresses in the country.
I am hoping she will do more films, but she seems more happier with her current passion, cooking. And I’m fine with that.
