Day 25 – Best Drama Family – The Zhao Family #LeCoupDeFoudre
I love the family dynamics in the Zhao household. It’s what I`ll always remember in Le Coup De Foudre. It’s heartwarming to see them bond like this in their humble home.
It wasn’t an easy change when their new father came into the picture, but when he showed how he genuinely loved his instant family, Guan Chao and Qiao Yi eventually warmed up to him, loved him, and even made some personal sacrifices for him when he needed help the most. I`m glad they had found a father figure in Tian Wei Min.
And the Zhao twins! Sniff! I love love love the Zhao twins! They’re my favourite sibling relationship in dramaverse ever! It’s so genuine and I could totally feel gege’s love for his meimei and meimei to her gege!
LOVE THIS FAMILY! I actually thought dad was going to a more depressed route after the accident, but he ws still as chirpy and fun as ever! Love dad! That speech he made also while he was having dinner with mom during their anniversary – I kind of wish he had that talk with Mo Mo when he and Qiao Yi got married. Would have been a really nice call back.
Yes agree! That dad remained chirpy and fun, but I think at some point he experienced depression when he started obsessing over liquors. I thought he felt like a burden to his family. But the twins and wife made him feel that’s not the case anyways!
I forgot that speech he made with his wife though during their anniversary? What was it? 😅
Episode 8! He practically said (in tears too, awww dad) that he’s not Qiao Yi’s real dad but he’ll protect her no matter what. It’s like threatening her future husband to take care of Qiao Yi and to not hurt her. Super cute!
Omg I loved this family so much. It showed how strong blood relations could be but it also showed family isn’t just blood relations but people who love you. It showed that people could become family through love
