@pakalanapikake,
I am sneaking in to wish you a Happy New Year! Best wishes for you and your family in 2021.
I hope you are well and in a good place now all things considered. I don’t need to say that you have been sorely missed here.
My news is that in 2021 I will be moving from NYC.
Where do folks from NY move to? Florida of course. I will not be reinventing the wheel.
I have enjoyed NYC and did not begin 2020 with the idea of relocating but the pandemic and politicians have brought the city to its knees. I am too old to wait for the rebound and tired of the cold winters.
I am telling family and friends that I want to replace the current view out my apartment window of fire escapes with one of palm trees and pink flamingos. (I am kidding about the flamingos but not the palm trees!) I will be searching for a place somewhere on the Gulf between Clearwater and Sarasota.

Hello. I miss you. Others have missed you, too.
