Lala deserves better. Jun will torture her until the end of time with his malicious fucking lies.
He lost me in episode 14 for telling Lala that he didn’t like her anymore. As shown in episode 15, he could have just said he was going abroad. That was the first indication I really had that Jun was too immature to date Lala.
And then it’s revealed that he was Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol all along. Am I touched? No, I’m not. That’s ridiculous. I hate it. I hate it so much. Jun being Lala’s guardian angel has been stretched too far, it’s not cute anymore. The only way they could have fixed this was by Jun dying.
And then he did! They could have foreshadowed it more, but with his constant unexplained nosebleeds, it was plausible that Jun had cancer! If Lala was never going to pay him back, then him dying was the perfect resolution to the story. He was the star watching her from Heaven all along, it’s perfect!
BUT OH WAIT, HE JUST PRETENDED THAT HE WAS DEAD FOR. FIVE. YEARS.

Truthfully this show made me decide to take a drama break. It’s ridiculous the nonsense they decided to just throw out towards the end. I don’t know how anyone read these episodes scripts and thought “yep, we good to go”
Hah. Apparently I’m not the only one fascinated by the collective rage of beanies about this drama (it felt like watching a multiple car crash). What kind of plot is that? I thought nothing could top the crappiness of Fox Bride Star ending, but this sounds so much more awful. Thank goodness I was in drama slump when this drama first came out.
Except, I have to say it was almost worth being this pissed off just to read “but with his constant unexplained nosebleeds, it was plausible …” because that made me CRACK UP. While he was dead I kept thinking, omg I don’t think anyone’s died in a kdrama I ten years – but I never thought about the nosebleeds! 😁 wow, it’s been a while since that trope for me, thanks!
does he actually die in the end? and do they get back together after this five years nonsense?? what happens in episode 16? i’m so thankful i stopped watching at ep 13 😱
