I can see that. Both about falling in love, dealing with family, finding and struggling to achieve your dream. Witty dialogue. Record of Youth just did not come together at all.
Not only the story I think but the overall vibe and how the story moves slowly (in Run On’s case it moves slowly without feeling draggy, but not with Record of Youth.
Record of Youth had it until like 4 episodes in or so, once they were ready with background set-up story, they didn’t now what to do next, which is a shame with a that potential

I pretty much hate-watched Record of Youth, while I’m LOVING Run On a LOT. So I don’t even want to begin to see comparisons.😂
