What bothers me is our heroine should be smart enough to know that when you open up shop in a new culture, you need to adapt to that culture, but doesn’t make any effort unless prodded by our hero. Why the resistance? The drama needs show us why…
That is so true. She seems kind and friendly though she does put up her walls. I guess some people just decide to think of themselves only and just let the rest of the world go on doing their own thing.
Or it could just be a plot thing because we need her to open up a little bit every episode as we find oit more about the townsfolk.
