Mr Sunshine (2018) was the second KDrama I ever watched this year. I loved it because it had a political theme & showed the sacrifices of the Korean people through the Righteous Army. & Goo Dongmae
Thanks for mentioning Hina. I ran out of permissible word count otherwise would have mentioned her. She was glorious: brave, analytical, tormented and determined. I so wanted Goo Dongmae to reciprocate her affection but alas. And, yes to your point re YYS. His transformation into the character was dazzling given everything else I have seen him in since.

He and Hina were the only reason I finished the drama.
Yoo Yeon Seok is always amazing in everything he does.
