Wow. I am really enjoying Moving. With a father like that and a mother who raised him with so much care, Bong-seok had no choice but to be the most awkward, supportive, sweetest heart ever.

He wasn’t in this week’s episodes, but Cha Tae-hyun’s casting is still bothering me. That’s how bad it is. He looks his age. Worse, he looks like a peer of the actor playing his father (because he is!). This better have narrative purpose.

When he was playing a high school student with Kim Hee-won as teacher 🤦‍♀️.

Moving is really good. I watched all available episodes in one sitting. That said something.

I too queried Chae’s presence at the beginning but he has his very own arc – just watch on.

And Ep 8 and 9 trailer is out now – the parents’ back story (and romance): https://youtu.be/MTH66gPE-lQ

Though his character is uninteresting to me and his flashback felt undeserved, I meant that I hope Cha Tae-hyun clearly not looking as young as age his character is meant to be has a narrative purpose. Like, for example, the electricity ages him prematurely because he’s had it since birth but didn’t similarly age his father because his father was augmented after birth or puberty or something.
