Random observations about “My Dearest:” Out of so many soldiers under Hong Taiji’s command, it never occurred to anybody to sing for the Khan until Ryang Eum showed up?
Given how recent Khan’s visit was, I assume there wasn’t enough time for him to hear his soldiers sing. If he had stayed longer he might have heard someone sing in the background. Also, I say no one would dare to sing right next to his tent.
Maybe for fear of death? You never know what will happen if the emperor doesn’t like it.
According to Jang Hyun, someone like Ryang Eum only comes around every 10 thousand years.

Good point! 😁 He traveled with a tent more lavish than my house yet didn’t bring the military band?
