Shin Sung Rok ssi, when will you return to dramaland?! Please return soon aka sometime in 2024 because 2023 only has 2 months left and I don’t have hopes for any drama cameo within this year 🥲.

In the meantime, here are several posters from SSR’s current musical (Benhur ⚔️) for the bean wall~

Hahaha. I would watch that drama too!
But he gives me vampire vibes, tbh. Like one of those 100+ years old rich vampire that loves to drink wine and wear suits.
Or maybe wizard? He gives me professor Snape (Harry Potter) vibes.

    Ben-Hur?

How they did the chariot race? 🤔

I don’t know what Benhur is about or if the chariot race happened or not in the musical. But looking at the promo clip there are prop horses and it moves 😂

Oh you didn’t watch the movie? It was very famous with Charlton Heston as the ML. It won a lot of oscars. It’s about Ben-Hur’s life in parallel of Jesus’s life. There were a lof of big scenes like the chariot race .

In France, they did a spectacle in live and the famous chariot race. It’s very complicated to make four horses running beside each other with 6 different chars on the racetrack.

Late to the party but I only found out about the musical BEN HUR today. I would love to see it.
Anyway the chariot race is pulled off. There is a pic in this 25 Oct review in โ€œThe Korea Timesโ€:

        Oh, it’s interesting! Thank you!

The highlight of the show is the Roman chariot race, a climactic moment in which the conflict between the two characters peaks. The scene recreated the grandeur of the Circus Maximus, an ancient Roman stadium. The stage seamlessly shifted and rotated, while dynamic video elements enhanced the overall experience.

I’m not the only one who thinks that it’s a very important scene :p
