My Demon crashed and burned at the end after all. It really was a disaster – like a crashing plane? Things started off fairly alright but the signs were there from the start.

Sigh … for how many dramas will I have to remember T. S. Eliot. 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

This is the way the world drama ends
Not with a bang but a whimper.

Well, I mainly enjoyed it probably because I was playing Candy Crash at the same time, but, yes… you are right.

Personally I think it’s strengths were in the heavy scenes- the stalker, the conflict over him being an actual DEMON and sending people to heck, and even the corporate espionage (I can’t believe I just said that ahaha). They had enligh comedy with just the setup of it being a fake marriage while he’s a demon. If I had been the writer/director, I’d have played harder into those threads while stringing the loveline out for longer-
They slowly get attracted to each other, even while the FL is conflicted because of the ML sheer demonness.

I agree with you – I think the show had the structure of something really solid but the execution fell flat. I hate to say it but I think the biggest flaws were the casting of Song Kang and the poor writing (dialogue, plot, all of it). The idea was there, the female lead and supporting cast were there, the cinematography and OST were all there, so the potential was clear.

Right? I also think they made a serious misstep in the progression of the two main leads, but I’m posting my hot take in the final episode comments just so I can find it again later if I need too haha
