I’ve had a not-so-good week, so I just didn’t have my mind on the fact that it’s already February.

Fortunately even if the week didn’t star well as I had some minor health issues, but it’s Friday and I’m feeling much better.

Every February I want to make my posts about love revolve around a theme and I think this year they will be about loving yourself, because only when you learn that you are the most important person in your life and the one you must fight to make happy, you will be able to share your happiness with others.

Loving yourself is not being selfish. Putting yourself in the first place is not being selfish. Learning to say “No” and “Goodbye, let’s not meet again” doesn’t make you a mean person. Even if you said “Yes” and “Hello” every single time before.

Discovering the amazing person you can be by trying to explore and learn from others, listening, sharing and being listened to will make you brighter.

I’m not saying it will be an easy path.

As Oscar Wilde said before: “To love yourself is the beginning of a lifetime romance”.

Love,

February

Thanks for the reminder it’s love February. I don’t know if anyone else remembered or if they did I missed it.

January seemed like it lasted forever, but it wasn’t until I read “Love, February” that I realized that February is in fact here and how crazy that’s its been a year since the last Love, February.
I hope you feel better soon! I’m in a love yourself mood, so your first entry is hitting me in the feels. Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Same for me!! January felt like such a drag, and even though I knew February had finally arrived— I KNOW, because my mum’s birthday is Feb. 1st— it didn’t register to me that it is also “Love, February” season 🫣🤯
