So… I have no watched those 2 episodes yet (but social media feed has already spoiled the ending of ep 8 for me) and I’d like to say: It didn’t come completely unexpected to me. I’m sure there are more aspects of ep 7 and 8 that might reveal some progression in her mood, but Haneul has been keeping herself busy with the trial for and trying to figure out what her feelings for Jeongwoo were up until… well definitely until ep6. I’ve seen on social media that the trial has been resolved.

So, I’m sort of thinking that in good Haneul’s form, she’s been focusing on other things to mask her own needs again. And now that those smoke fires are resolved, she’s left with her initial needs and unresolved mental health problems… and it hurts even more because Jeongwoo could sort out his situation but she couldn’t (because she’s been ignoring her situation) and she feels even more like a failure. (something that I thought Jeongwoo would feel too, given the glimpses we got of his family and fake friends not caring about him throughout his life).

Anyway, I probably should watch the last 2 episodes before commenting!
