Found it! Was searching through my playlists for an N.Flying song to add to the Lovely Runner playlist (can’t not have at least one considering the band’s frontman is also the leader of Eclipse and everyone’s favourite flower boy wingman!) and landed on ‘Flower’ which is one of my favourite songs ever.

The lyrics, anchored by the feeling of yearning and helplessness, feel reminiscent of Sol wanting to protect her idol from the harsh realities of what she knows of his future, but also of adult Sunjae wanting to be closer & to protect Sol but forced to hover afar.
