    I still don’t understand why I watched Playful Kiss till the very end…

      I swear it was the worst thing I’ve watched, I was grossed out the whole time, it was super cheesy and cringe worthy, just remembering it makes me feel sick 🤢 and infuriated, I skipped a lot of scenes though, I don’t think I could have survived if I watched everything. It was such a disgrace

        I watched it when I was still a drama newbie and didn’t drop dramas. Or skip scenes. (I still skip scenes only rarely.)

        I suppose I’m just not fan of the story in general (it is adapted from manga, I believe). I found the main girl to cringey – why would you openly like and pursue someone who probably doesn’t like you? And I didn’t like much how he was the genius, but she was stupid. Also, why would you choose your career based on the career of your boyfriend? I know she did have a revelation scene where she understood how great it is to help people but still.
        I did watch a big part of the Taiwanese remake though. I have no idea why. I suppose it wasn’t that terrible and cringey. And the main lead was cuter than in Playful Kiss.

          Same here, I was a newbie too and that’s why I didn’t drop it.
          The drama was nothing but flaws and stupid characters, so I didn’t even think about giving a shot to any of the remakes I don’t want to experience that again.
          It’s ok, don’t be sorry, I Won the bet yesterday so i’ll change it now …..yay

            I am afraid that the characters and storyline stay vastly the same. So don’t go there. If you hated the Korean version, the remakes won’t fix anything for you.

    I put up with a grand total of (probably less than) 5 minutes of this! There was no way I’d stay for that.

    iam the minority here… who watched PK and LOVED KHJ like anything (7-8 years back) and i can still recall all my giggling and cheek pains due to grins… i still love the drama though can’t say the abt KHJ…

    hope you get ur loved avatar back…soon.
