With the flood of new dramas it was difficult for me to hold on to Life. But hold onto it, I did.

Was it the cast? The plot? The characters? Maybe a bit of all three. But mostly because I was curious about the people. How were they going to survive another day at the hospital? I was disappointed that we spent so much time on hospital/business politics yet I was intrigued enough about the characters to keep coming back. There was a steady almost magnetic pull everytime President Gu butted heads with our hospital staff. And I loved every minute of it. I came in think he was THE villain but was pleasantly surprised that this isn’t your typical show with good vs evil.

The ending could’ve been better (especially how they resolved Gu’s storyline… And where was his secretary?? She was my fav character!), and I’m glad our Dr Ye got some time off with his brother because boy does he need to cool down a bit! It was funny that he was shooting daggers at the new president but the boy’s gotta chill. Don’t make another enemy!

Overall, I’m glad I stuck with the show. 💖💖

Something light to sum up how I felt about the show:

Aww, I’m glad you like it. Life is quite unusual for kdrama and it’s one of my fave this year. Also, it doesn’t hurt that I get to see Lee Kyu-hyung playing a rare character like Sun-woo.

He survive the show with a happy enough ending. Tbh, I wish the writer didn’t turn him into a punching bag halfway through the show, but since in the end he is content with what he got, it’s good enough for me.

Lee Kyu-hyung plays unusual characters very well and I can’t wait to see more of him!

Great that you liked it. The characters not being entirely evil was the best part of the show. Well we cannot say that for the chairman but at least President Gu. Plus someone finally posted a photo with Choi Su Hyeon. This was my first time seeing this actress but I was surprised that she has been acting for quite a while in films mostly. She and Won Jin ah have become the actresses I’ll definitely look out for.

The chairman is in another world entirely! It’s a pity they didn’t make him balance his bad side with good. It’s like they’re saying there are people who are 100 % bad and we can’t do anything about it. In a way it’s true… I guess?

Yes! I really really liked her. I’ve never seen her before but I’ll certainly be keeping an eye out for her. And Woh Ji Nah is a gem! 💎 I enjoyed her performance a lot in Just Between Lovers.

I’ve read some spoilers and i think i have the basic ideas about the ending but I’m taking my time watching this in between the other ongoing dramas.. I came for LDW but now start to shift my loyalty to Mr Gu 😂 i really love him being so unsure about himself, unconsiously fidgety when No eul is around

That was my plan but with so many new dramas I felt like I’d never get to finish Life. So I sat down yesterday and binged the last 3 eps. Now I don’t feel guilty starting the new shows. 😂

Truthfully I came for everyone hehehe. There’s just so many actors here that I love and I couldn’t miss it for anything.
Yes, Gu’s scenes with No eul was adorable. It brought the best out of him! ❤
      Good luck finishing it! 😀
