This show was a masterpiece in human psychology and interactions. It also had a genius knack of making me care about every single person and object with a simple closeup shot. It was brilliant.
The amount of criticisms, beanies and otherwise, is heartbreaking. I hope the writer and the director know that there are people who absolutely loved it.
I’m glad to see that you enjoyed it. Life is a drama which broadens the dramaland variety, it’s a pity that this drama isn’t seen for its true value : either because of high expectations towards the writer after Forest of secrets masterpiece or the unusual character driven drama.
I loved it and I’m glad that I’ve watched it, who knew I would have enjoyed so much hospital politics haha.
Even in Forest of Secrets I cared more about the characterizations, especially the villains and the semi-villains psychology and motives, than the leads and the mystery. That was seriously new for me, as I am usually a strictly good guys fan in my drama-watching. They took this up a notch in Life.
I remember the background music being shred to pieces on beanie walls for being too over-dramatic and incongruous for the plot. But to me it was perfect. Hospital politics might be boring to outsiders, but it can be life or death for the staff…
It’s always makes me inexplicably happy to see other people also enjoying Life. What a strong and unusual character-driven drama. It’s one of my absolute fave this year.
I was waiting hopefully for your comment @gadis! I dug deep into the fan walls to get to the finale date, and noticed that you seemed to be the only beanie who praised and loved the drama very much. One of my absolute faves too!
Honestly, at that time there’re only a few of us who watched this drama faithfully till the end and loving every second of it that I felt the need to spread my love for this drama everywhere. I’m glad to see more people decided to binge-watch it now that it finished airing.

Congrats for finishing the drama.. im still on its final episode atm waiting for the good timing to watch it.
