Saw some clips on instagram about new c-drama I Will Never Let You Go / Legend of Hua Buqi, and its crazy to think how Ariel Lin doesn’t look older (she even look younger at some angles) than Zhang Binbin.
And even crazier, how, after 15ish years, this HuaBuqi looks almost literally the same as ISWAK Yuan Xiangqin
During are rewatches of ISWAK and TKA, me and @isthatacorner have surmised that she just gets more beautiful as she gets older, and this is due to sorcery and perhaps not being human. Seriously, it is not fair.
Nope. Just saw the clips on instagram. With c-drama, i think its better to wait until they finished and wait for the reviews. Because they often ruin the ending.
You apparently watch it live! Is it good? Is it a romcom or just romantic? I’ll keep watching your fanwall to see if you squee or rant about this drama 😆😆😆😆😆
It’s a mix of both, romance but has quite a bit of comedic moments, too!! The plot is something I’ve seen before, so nothing new, but the anchor of this drama truly lies in the cast, the chemistry of the cast, and the acting— which, all 3 elements right now is doing quite a good job for my preferences 😁😁 Each episode gets deeper into the characters stories, reasoning (though, some reasoning is standard unlogical drama logic, but because I’ve seen so many dramas, I’m use to it, and this drama doesn’t rely too much on makjang) and motivations in all they do and I anticipate when all the secrets of all of our characters will finally come out so I can see what the aftermath will be… In terms of the pace of the drama, I like where it’s at— only 15 episodes (total is 50/51 episodes) so far, but a lot of relationships, friendships, human-to-human bonds are happening, and the romance is picking up, too!!

She’s the only TW actress I know and she’s seriously getting beautiful with every passing year.
