Lee Tae-ri debuted as a child actor in 1998 through the hit SBS sitcom Soonpoong Clinic. He also had roles in the sageuk dramas Empress Myeongseong in 2001 and Jang Hee-bin in 2002. In 2005, he starred alongside Yoo Seung-ho in the KBS2 children fantasy series Magic Warriors Mir & Gaon. In 2007, he became part of SBS’s Catching Up With Gangnam Moms, which earned him a Best Young Actor nomination at the SBS Drama Awards. In 2012, he portrayed young Prince Yang-myung in the popular MBC sageuk The Moon That Embraces the Sun, which gave him another Best Young Actor nomination at the MBC Drama Awards. That same year, he joined the main cast of the SBS fusion sageuk Rooftop Prince. In 2019, he appeared in MBC’s Extraordinary You. In 2020, he made his Hollywood debut with the fantasy adventure film Anastasia: Once Upon a Time.
