he's a great actor but its best if he stays away from the stereotypical lead
i hope it not hyunjoong. good looking but he's as stiff as a board when it comes to acting.
yonghwa is a bit better and he has a playful side so im sure he can do it
plus if shin hye is cast, they would make a good couple
they also had chemistry in you're beautiful and theyre good friends
I knew he wouldnt accept it...I mean why would he wanna go back to playing a high schooler?...though like you said he does have plenty of time to branch out...bt i wanna see him in something different....I also just read today that Jung Yong Hwa also declined due to activities with CN Blue...idk if its true...bt if it is that leaves Kim hyun joong...and with no Park Bo young either (I dont mind PSH, bt i dont want to see her in a role simmilar to that in YAB anytime soon)...suddlenly everything about this drama (except the director) looks soo very dreary
LMH could do a hundred roles like that and I'd still watch the shows...but I'd also like it if they cast a new face with heretofore unsuspected acting talent (with good looks to boot lol)....
I TOO was hoping that LMH would take the lead for It Started with A Kiss, however like you said, we don't want him to be typecast so early in his career. Once you're typecast into a certain role, it's really hard to get out of the shadow of it. I do hope that he picks his next project real soon though. Hopefully in something totally different than his previous two better-known roles.
As for Kim Hyun-joong, I still don't believe he is strong enough acting-wise to take on a lead role. He needs more acting lessons...
As for the female lead, I really don't see Park Shi-hye in the role. Never did like her in You're Beautiful (don't hate me!)
I don't care who gets the male lead, but I'm gonna be so (x100000) mad if Park Shin Hye doesn't get the female lead! Appearence & acting wise, she's the perfect fit for the role. & KARA'S Han Seung Yeon has no experience whatsoever with acting so I think it's too sudden for her to be cast as a lead.

Theirs didn't really look that appetising at all. Or maybe I just don't like jajangmyun, period. I did tear up and get all lumpy-throated through those scenes though.

I think they should just put jang geun suk and park shin hye in there
