For those of you who love “The Untamed,” from which episode would you say it gets good?

I think for me once they returned to the past when Wangxian were younglings (eps 3-4 I think), the story started to make some more sense lols – it was easier to follow then. Events speed up rather fast after that too. 🙂

    I prefer episodes 12 thru 33.

In fact I started the drama around ep 12 (per AvenueX), and I’m glad for it. I enjoyed the grittier parts of the drama.

I did have some background info before doing that. So I sort of know what it was about.

So did you end up going back to episodes 1-11 after you finished 12-50?

Yes, after ep 33. Went back to ep 1and 2. Then ep 34 thru 50.

After I was done I watched ep 3 thru 11.

It is not possible to skip more than the first 2 eps which is when their story begins. In my opinion this drama is mostly about the main characters and their journey so either a person will fall in love with them early or they won’t enjoy the plot.

I liked the early episodes. 1-5 flew by and by ep 5, I was invested and then it just kept getting better. People said about ep 15 was where it got good for them though. 30-32 were rough for me though.

I actually enjoyed it from the first episode, probably because it was my first wuxia drama and the way the characters was introduced. I later found out you are supposed to watch from episode 3 and then go back to 1 and 2 after episode 33.

I did struggle when the story was focused on the side characters and there weren’t a lot of scenes with the main leads.

Not to sound too shallow but I liked it from the moment Wei Xian gave one of his blinding smiles…
Also I’d read somewhere that you just have to get through the first three episodes when they go back to the beginning.
But I liked it from the start.
