Dear Beanies,
I am in full anime-nostalgia mood, reminiscing on my universities days and the seemingly glorious & endless hours I spent watching really good anime. I needed to immortalize the futile exercise of listing my most memorable shows in the last 15+ years and the best place I could find to do this is here, on DramaBeans… tee hee.

Good idea!
It’s while going through this listing exercise that I realized just how little anime I watch now. I went from live-watching a show on almost every day of the week in any given season, to watching 1 show per year!!
Im still in love with animes but these days i dont have the time to watch streaming episodes ~coz im too poor to buy the original dvds.. i used to collect original manga too but these days i cant waste too much money but thanks to the online reading i never left behind.. recently i add chinese manhua into my reading because i found their arts are pretty
On your list Kaichou wa maid sama, Akatsuki no Yona, Kamisama Hajimemashita, Chihayafuru belong to my favourite animes.
Other favourites of mine which your list doesn’t include are: Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, Watashi ga Motete Dousunda, Amnesia, Hakushaku to Yousei, Free! – Iwatobi Swim Club, Kobato, Ao Haru Ride, Gokukoku no Brynhildr, Fukigen na Mononokean, Net-juu no Susume.
Wow! My anime list is long, too. I still love rewatching them despite the fact that I’m getting older.
thanks for adding to my list, Bernadett. As it turns out, that was the list of memorable ones that elicited fond memories as I scrolled through years of anime previews/reviews this morning. There are tons more that I watched but probably didn’t enjoy as much. As it turns out, one of them is Ao Haru Ride; I enjoyed the manga more than the anime, for some absurd reason. Hakushaku to Yousei and Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun were fun but I didn’t cherish and obsess about them as much as some of the ones I listed there.
I WILL, however, check out the other titles: Net-juu no Susume and Fukigen na Mononokean ! YAY!! I now have shows to occupy myself with!
OMG @bernadett I finished Net-juu no Susume over the weekend and it was soooooo cute!! I was all giddy and blushing and loving it !! Thank you for the great recommendation !
have a good week, dear Beanie!
