Just finished watching Cinderella's Sister eps for the week and now moving on to Prosecutor Princess.

All this while grating coconut for my Uncle's birthday party tomorrow (my mom is making coconut tart).

i'm really having a hard time today at work.

you know, i come to work and do my thing. i guess i never thought i'd be faulted for doing a good job, being thorough, and not making (many) mistakes. i didn't realize that having accountability in my own work and being responsible when you're not would reflect badly on myself. but go ahead, keep trying to bring me down. i'll just do better and better to piss you off even more. HA!

i'm completely feeling 2PM's song "don't stop, can't stop". i wanna shout out to some ppl around me "So you wanna see me fall, right? (HATERS!) like a candle on a windy night.. yeah right. just watch me do this; take a breath, hold tight! i ain't never going down without a fight!" i mean, seriously, why do ppl try to make me a character in their drama? i like to WATCH dramas, not be in your crazy ass drama. in the words of EunJo, "Just leave me out of it."

i did finish watching CU ep 8 this morning. and shout out to viikii subbers!!! you all are great! the speed that the vids were up eng subbed is awesome. the ep was not the best.. kinda a filler, but there were a few good parts thrown in... let's just say, i'm completely understanding EunJo rite now. i wish my death rays could do as much as hers. lol.

i'm so glad it's Friday. i really need this day to end... and it's only just begun. sigh.

Hey everybody! Happy Friday! The weekend is almost in our reaches. ^_^

The summer is almost here and I shall be celebrating it with a long overdue trip around Europe. I'm leaving for London in a few weeks!

Does anybody have some good travel stories? Suggestions for some secret must-see sight in Paris? A venetian adventure through the canels? Climbing your way over the hills of Switzerland (singing all the way of course)? A little Roman romance perhaps? Haha, share!

When did Park Shi hoo get so incredibly charming. In all his previous dramas, all he did was stand stiff, take deep breaths and, when needed to act; look like he was constipated or lift a eyebrow. And now all of a sudden he became adorable in Prosecuter Princess. I think i rewatched the kiss like a zillion times. Kim is also adorable and so completely different from IRIS. I think this is my fav drama of the week. Who doesnt like "The Devil" and "Legally Blonde" and "Project Makeover" mixed into together. This show is delicious and yet has depth and mystery.

And as for my second fav Cinderella's Sister....I just love Ha Jung Woo/Taecyon. I just want the Eun Jo character to end up with him. They are perfect for each other. I am going to be really pissed off if she ends up with Ki-Hoon. I dont really care about Ki Hoon's issues or sadness or whatever torture he is facing. Seriously not even one bit of sympathy. Even Hyo-Sun is understandable and interesting. He used to be cute earlier now he got over dramatic and exhausting and just plain annoying. While whenever Jung woo gets a chance to talk to Eun jo i think i just stand up and notice.

I 've seen Episodes 7 and *8 (without subs) of "Personal Taste"
and I'm wondering if that VERY BRIEF SCENE with Yoon Eun-hye
was the TOTAL length of the cameo role? I thought it was more like a
walk-on part. I imagine that the conversation went something like this:

Hello, what a surprise to see you here in the movie theater lobby!
How have you been since I last saw you?
Nice cup of tea that THE THREE OF US ARE HAVING........
(Think about a past memory of shooting fireworks, complete with a hug.)

I've watched PT and CS already so far. Starting to find PT more entertaining this week. Prob cos of plot development. CS is at a stagnant state after the first 4 explosive episodes and a slight toning down of the previous 2. In terms of romance, its starting to become somewhat of a disappointment. I totally agree that only Jungwoo and Eunjo's scenes are worth watching. The rest are just fillers to watever random plot point these 2 episodes are trying to convey. It kinda lost me somewhere in the middle of ep7. Now all I care about are next week's PT episodes. I guess I'll drop CS if it doesn't move onwards with next week's episode. ^-^

hey OTers! exams are almost upon me, so dramas are my balm these days. still have this week's eps of Cinderella Unni to watch; still love it, but i agree, i watched the first 4 eps with stars in my eyes and wanted to rewatch them immediately after. 5 and 6 were great because of some super acting and fascinating characters, but the delightful whimsy eg the bubble scene has departed and left angst in its place that weighs much too heavy. after charming us all with that smile, ki hoon really is to blame for this mess. :\ bad choices and just being dense. bad ki hoon.

anyone watched vineyard man? five eps in, and it's HYSTERICAL. i know javabeans didn't like it too much, but it's refreshingly normal, about a normal (not faux-normal) girl adjusting farm life. also yoon eun hye doesn't have aegyo so her whining is hysterical, instead of making you want to stick your head in a guillotine. oh man seok is fabulous. major, major lulz.

on another note, my friend went to an amanda palmer gig last night. ENVY. apparently amanda didn't shave her pits and was parading around in a bra for most of the night, and neil gaiman came stage at the end with a tambourine while everyone rocked out to the sex pistols. you just can't get that level of awesome every day.

still couldnt get over 'Chuno'..looking forward to 'Cinderella..'..i'm so into sageuk these days..'Great Merchant ' is good but underrated..

Ooh, another person watching Kim Man Deok! Problem with sageuk is that I often end up liking the child cast more than the older actors, so I miss the kids when their episodes are over. Shim Eun Kyung was absolutely AMAZING as young Man Deok; so full of life and spunk, and ever so natural, so when it made the transition to Lee Mi Yeon, it threw me off.

hihi... Prosecutor Princess is taking the lead for me too!! too bad i'm in the minority.
I always go for underdog with mediocre ratings... not that i don't like CS, PS-OML in that order. but Kim is AWESOME and Park Shi Hoo is just *swoon*. It's like his cuteness in Family Honor combined with the hot and mysterious factor. The writers better have a good reason for his stalker aspect.

Absolutely love CS, especially this week's, it's oozing with unspoken emotion from both EJ and KH. I'm so impressed on how well done this drama is. The writer, director & actors have done a fantastic job in making the story very three dimensional. It is a true melodrama, but this time it actually make me want to watch every second of it, since every scene has an important bits of the story/ background of the character.

I only have time for one drama a week, and I am happy to know that there is such good show on.

Also, thank you JB & Grilfriday for the recaps, they sure add more meaning to the story.

I truly enjoy this website, since it allows me to keep in touch with dramas that I dont' really have time to watch. Thanks JB

Did anyone feel like Cinderella's Sister was getting rocking? I mean for episodes 7&8, they weren't as smooth as the others (the editing). I felt like it was jumping from scene to scene. Reminded me of New Moon, which totally SUCKED, movie wise. Not trying to hate. I mean I loved the Twilight saga, the BOOKS. Anyways, Not that the two could ever be compared. They're not even in the same categories, I think.

Well, hopefully the editing gets better cause I love this drama. And love reading it on Dramabeans. You guys always put it into perspective for me.

Anyways, I have to say even though it was kind of bumpy, the part where you see JW as the young boy and the older dancing for EJ was adorable. So cute! Loved it when he carried her and ran.

I agree that the best scenes in these two ep. were with EJ and JW. And they are perfect for each other. I'm a KH&EJ fan but I may start to cross over to the JW&EJ side after these ep. But it's kind of sad though don't you think for KH? It did hurt my heart, the feeling of losing him.

im going to have the worst 20 days ever. IVe got exams in 15 days, and organic chemistry and principles of chemical engineering is killing me. I need to ace my exams cuz i need to get a high GPA. After that im moving on the same day i finish uni, and traveling for my vacation a month later. But i don't care about any of those as long as i FASTFORWARD those 20 days!!! may 13, come sooner please! also ive been trying, and slowly dying while staying away from these dramas: Personal Taste, Cinderella's Sister, Prosecutor Princess, and Oh! My Lady. I will have a marathon when i finish and im SO excited, i think that is the only thing that keeps me going =P

saw PT and CS today and i find eunjo and jungwoo's pairing more interesting than she and kihoon. the episodes were ok, just seem like a normal episode to me, maybe it's because the last 6 episodes were much too good.

PT is suddenly captivating all my attention. Lee Min Ho's acting and the museum director ( I just couldn't remember his name at this moment, sry) excellent, one of my favourite episodes till now and i'm sure it will get better.

PARIS: 1.gardens - Marais gardens, parc de Bagatelle 2. best ice cream – chez Berthillon 3. shopping – I don’t think you can go there and not shop (or window shop) - Faubourg Saint-Honoré district 4. macaroons – Laduree (the best ever!!)

LONDON: 1. park – Hyde park (lots to see, paddle boat on the pond, Diana fountain 2. shopping – oxford street (TopShop, Selfridges, designers), beyond retro (vintage) 3. hotel – egerton house hotel (it’s a beautiful boutique hotel in Knightsbridge – which is just steps from Harrods, Harvey Nics, Burberry) 4. foodies – well, I don’t know what you like to eat, but there’s a place near Harvey Nics called Wagamama (yummy noodles and dumplings)

ZURICH: I was only there for 3 days, but I went in the summer to Mount Pilatus, Lindt and Sprungle Chocolate Factory, Lindenhof (to watch people play chess)

Cinderella's Sister: enjoyed the cute interaction between eun jo & jun woo (dancing was adorable!). i know that eun jo is supposed to be really partnered with ki hoon, but these episodes showed another layer to eun jo - especially when she figures out that jun woo is THAT jun woo. as for ki hoon, i know these last 2 episodes showed another dimension to his thoughts/feelings - but he was a bit much at the same time

Prosecutor Princess: hye ri & in woo's kiss = LOVED it! i must've seen the kiss at least 10 times!! lol. the mystery behind in woo's character is starting to unravel, so i can't wait for the next's episodes.

Personal Taste: kae in is starting to have a backbone especially towards chang ryul. kae in & jin ho's rapport is also getting very interesting. i like how kae in is starting to realize that maybe jin ho is not gay afterall.

Just finished watching CS 7&8. Enjoyed 8 more than 7 coz i think 8 had more storylines. Most of all, I enjoy the scenes between Hyo Sun's father and EJ. Very heartwarming. Well, as heartwarming as it can get considering how stoic EJ's facial expressions can be. but we can all see she truly cares for him and treats him as a father figure. The scene where JW (kid & adult) were dancing for EJ was also very very cute. Plus, they threw in some Jealous KH for us. Ah, the writers, such nice people. Haha. MGY is so sweet when she smiles and because it's such a rarity on this show, it was even nicer to see her smile :)

The thing abt CS is it's difficult to really hate one character. Like they all have their reasons for doing something. Which is due to good writing and good acting, really. No one's outright bad, everyone's just flawed humans. I thought it was a nice spin on things how they's making even the almost perfect KH seem like the bad guy now, tryin to take over Dae Sung Farm.

JWx2 is the most adorable thing i've seen in a long time. i've loved pudgy JW since the moment i saw him... and having him next to lean and sexy JW was just pure LOVE. i think i was shipping pudgey JW since the beginning.. and the way they are writing him to be such an adorable puppy (and i don't even LIKE animals that i can't eat), i'm loving him even more. and KH has YET to step up and so something for EJ. if anything, he's still shady between the two sisters... and to everyone--Daddy Hong, Daesung, EJ, HS.. i mean, doesn't it yet sink in that EJ feels abandoned? she TOLD him!!!! and he makes that crap speech that makes me wanna tear him a new a-hole. and i'm SO MAD!!! why are the writers doing this to C!J!M!???
