I hope he has improved, and that I'm not just making excuses for him >.> I'm not particularly a fan of his, but this drama can have some potential if he can pull through. fingers crossed!!

Oh I can't wait!!!! This should be really good. Although I hated Ariel Lin in the taiwanese version of it, I did love the anime version..Kim Hyung Joon looks actually alright to me, he has that arrogance air surrounding him, which is so needed in this character....love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really hope this isn't a disappointment like BOF. We'll see! The stills look pretty cute ^__^

I'm a bit wary of this drama but i'm still going to let myself get excited about it. With everything that has come out about it so far I figure that at best it could be quite good and suprise everyone ...and at worst... it could be boys before flowers all over again, mindless entertainment that is fun as long as you check your brain at the door.

Also, I've noticed people already commenting on his lack is emotion in the first stills. I wouldn't judge to harshly yet. At this point in those pictures, his character is trying to basically ignore her existence. I'm going on a limb to say that its supposes to appear that way.

cute! can they just keep releasing stills instead of the drama, and then we won't have to worry about whether or not they can act? it's win-win!

oh and this may generate hate (i don't mean to!) but... while i love ISWAK i don't think joe cheng and ariel lin are in themselves GREAT actors; they were great in ISWAK (debatably, i guess, but i loved them...) but their other stuff/range is... just okay. i can't even say i always like them - i.e. their chemistry - together because love and bread so did not impress me.

okay, i am so curious as to how this remake will turn out. glad KHJ's hair is looking good and he's dressed well, unlike in BOF. and i like that he looks a bit older... he looks so girly (well, im my mind, previously) that i'm gad they manned him up, so to speak LOL

The actress is adorable! The characters look their part. Not so fruity Mr. Kim! KHJ may be suitable after all, since the character is pretty expressionless in the manga, anime, and Taiwanese version.

I wonder if this series will cover the WHOLE story. The Taiwanese version was very long, given that there were two parts. Hopefully the Korean version will do the story justice, especially after they get married. I think They Kiss Again was a lot cuter and sweeter compared to the first part. Too bad the manga artist passed away before completing the story... I hope this version will have a good ending. The ending in the Taiwanese version was very well done.

I love this manga so I'll probably watch it, even if KHJ is a rock!

I hope that KHJ took some (A LOT OF) acting classes prior to taking the role; actually, he could/should continue taking them while filming the series.

I don't think I'll like Kim expressivity of a boiled fish Hyun-joong. I don't know about her, but I think I'm going to watch the first episode and then I'll see.
Well, I didn't liked the main guy in the taiwan version too! I loved the 2nd guy for I think the third time in all the dramas I've ever seen.

@68 I actually didn't like much the ending in the 2nd part of the taiwanese drama! Oh well we'll see. I didn't knew that the artist passed away! :(

Even though I don't like KHJ as an actor, I like this story too much to miss this.

I choose to believe that his "blank" look is to portray the character he's playing rather than poor acting. I actually think it makes sense cos he starts off as a cold and emotionless guy, kinda like a robot. All until he met JSM, who "triggers" all the emotions in him. He starts to show annoyance and anger due to her out-of-control dumbness.

Well...well, I really need to play down my expectations a little.

NOW i'm kinda excited (maybe because of JSM?) they look good together

kinda funny how everyone's saying their disinterest for the drama, yet look at how fast the comments' number grow. lol. this is so going to be BOF Ver.2 kind of disease.

n i think secretly many of the 'i'm not interested to watch because of kim hyun joong' kind of comments, are actually subconscious fans of his, i see them mentioning him even in articles that doesn't even talk about him. lol.

@ 77: yeah, he attracts viewers. This drama maybe not a good one but I'm sure many people will give it a try (because people keep talking about it ^^) and so will I.

I can't help picturing Kim Soo-hyun instead of KHJ in these stills. Gah he would have been so good in this role...

Anyway, I'll give him a chance but I dont agree with people who say Naoki is an easy part to play. Actually it's quite the opposite. This character is interesting because despite the cold appearance, you can actually see glimpses of deep humanity in him at times. Naoki is not cold because he's a jerk but because he's emotionally inapt. And the dumb Kotoko gives him a lot of lessons in this area^^ Joe Cheng portrayed perfectly the subtility, but I'm really not sure KHJ can pull it off: Talent put aside, he's not experienced enough...

Let's wait and see ^-^

i had doubts about hyun joong but he seems okay. however i prefer his hair not like this girly style. hope he will change it :/
