Listen, it’ll be a miracle if I say anything coherent in this post, because WHY SO PRETTY?
I’m a fan of the scruffy look on any guy, but on Hyun Bin, it pretty much takes the cake. And the frosting on top.
The official poster and release date have been announced for 60s classic remake Late Autumn, and it premieres…you guessed it…late autumn! The film has made the rounds in the international festival circuit, and will be released nationwide in Korea on November 25.
Late Autumn (also called Manchu) made its Korean debut at the Pusan International Film Festival, where advance tickets sold out in FIVE SECONDS. Needless to say, it broke a new record for fastest sellout of a screening. Yeesh. You’d think people were buying tickets to sit in a darkened room with Hyun Bin himself.
The film stars Tang Wei as a woman who is on leave from prison for three days, after killing her husband seven years ago. She meets Hyun Bin in Seattle and well, falls in love. Sigh. Wouldn’t we all?
Late Autumn is a remake of the 1960 lost film Manchu, and is directed by Kim Tae-yong. Hyun Bin is currently shooting fantasy-action drama Secret Garden opposite Ha Ji-won, which premieres November 13.

I feel the same way! I was not happy when I sat those Secret Garden stills and he’d cut his hair and was all clean shaven. He looks much better a little rough around the edges.
Well Hyun Bin has been my eternal love since Snow Queen well the drama sucked big time but he was a treat to watch non d less !
Just woke up…and waking up to scruffy Hyun Bin does NOT suck. Yum. I can’t wait to see this movie.

i heard the entire movie was done in English. I couldn’t help but to wonder how good is Hyun Bin in speaking English? He spoke a little English in Snow Queen. I was hardly could understand him.

Well. I like Hyun Bin. But from this poster, I actually think he tries too hard to look “cool.” The feel of the character does not transpire through the poster (although I have to admit that he is hot). Well. It’s typical problem of Korean actors/actresses because they appear too much in CF and photo shooting projects. They tend to bring cfs personality into their drama/film projects.
On the contrary, Tang Wei is totally immersed in her character. She is an excellent actress. And I was so impressed with her performance in “Lust Caution.” Apparently, her enforced “exile” from China makes her exude even more mature aura.
I cannot wait to see her new project!
