Blind heiresses and puppy love in Pinocchio PD’s new project

Award-winning PD Jo Soo-won (Pinocchio, I Hear Your Voice) will be returning this summer with a new project called Dog or Witch. He’s collaborating with a rookie writer Yoo Jung-min, who has created a rom-com script about the love triangle between an arrogant and reckless blind heiress, the guide dog that loves her, and the veterinarian who loves the guide dog.
I’m ready to see lots of adorable cuteness onscreen, canine or otherwise. Hopefully, PD Jo can get Lee Jong-seok to star because their collaborations have led to fantasy rom-com gold, but it’s probably unlikely because Lee Jong-seok already has While You Were Sleeping lined up for approximately the same broadcasting time period. So maybe he can get another puppy-faced actor to sign on. Song Joong-ki or Ji-soo anyone?
PD Jo Soo-wan has created some of my favorite dramas: I absolutely loved I Hear Your Voice and Pinocchio, both of which incorporated fantasy elements. Admittedly, his most recent drama, The Time I’ve Loved You, was a complete miss for me with a love story that wasn’t very convincing and a match-up I thought lacked chemistry. But I still have faith that Dog or Witch may get PD Jo back on track.
Dog or Witch has yet to be picked up by a broadcasting station, but it is currently in the middle of casting phase, planning for a summer release.

I Can Hear Your Voice is one of my favorite dramas. I am also currently rewatching Pinocchio. Both are excellent dramas. I call Lee Jong-seok my puppy, but this drama will actually have a puppy in it. He can't be in this drama because how can two puppies compete with each other? It would create a tear in the space-time continuum.

I'd really really really want Yoo Seung Ho for this but I can't put my hopes since this show will broadcast after Ruler: Master of the Mask.
Its impossible to get him into this because I doubt that he will take 2 dramas in a row *sigh*

I also thought of Song Hye-kyo's character in Winter, too! I will always remember how beautiful she looked in that scene where she unknowingly ate the cotton candy with Jo In-sung. Hee. Though I don't remember her being too arrogant and reckless, so I can't wait to see this character come to life. It's certainly intriguing!

Pretty mean! But fear not, our heroine is no ordinary blind girl–she's arrogant and reckless (I'm imagining a scene where she's either crossing the street w/o her guide dog or like, driving or something), so I'm sure she won't allow the vet to just take her dog away from her–not without a fight! Anyways, the premise sounds so odd, but intriguing. May the casting begin!

The story sounds interesting, finally something different than legal, offices, medical. Although the blind heiress theme is not new but the guide dog is interesting.

Kim Yoo Jung as the lead actress please! I know that she's always wanted to play a blind character after SHK's Young in TWTWB. And I was hoping she would be paired with Yoo Seung Ho for her next project, but seeing as YSH is already paired up w/ KSH for an upcoming sageuk, getting him is probably impossible. Maybe Jisoo? They had an awesome chemistry in Angry Mom. YJG would be awesome too but I'm hoping for their casting when they're both old enough for *cough*hotter*cough scenes XD

I would love Song Joong-ki in this. Descendants of the Sun was just 100% not my thing, but I adored him in Sungkyunkwan Scandal and the closest I can get to a good lead for him is Penny Pinchers, which isn't enough! Need more funny Joong-ki!

Angel Eyes! I knew I watched a drama with a blind heroine. Nam Ji-hyun was a great galaxy(!) loving blind girl. If only she wasn't in JI CHANG WOOK's upcoming drama. Drama leads with a disability are very rare so I'll be looking forward to the developments of this one.
