You're such a good actor. Do you plan on directing one of your dramas one day?

He actually had his directorial debut in 2015 with a short film, he even wrote the script himself! DB wrote an article on it.

Haven't got the chance to watch it though~

Short film is one thing but a whole drama wherein he's the star and director would be such a huge undertaking.

@llljr Jrr,
Thanks for mentioning Namgoong Min's haiku of a mystery thriller. It's really good. Great cast. Great music, too. LIGHT MY FIRE has a lean, mean plot and pacing that makes the most of its 18-minute running time, and left me wanting more. ;-)

I read that he met his girlfriend, Jin Ah Reum, in that film. Not sure if they are still together though.

Also, how do you hold on to your own morals when playing morally ambiguous characters without disconnecting from them? Do you do anything to help separate your own values from those of the characters you play?

Oh one of my fav oppa!! Really looking forward to the interview! Here is my question for him:

What kept you motivated through the hardest phases of your life?

Namgoong Min!!! wow, what an honor.
1. First of all, thank you for working hard every time and being so entertaining no matter if youยดre a villain or a funny guy!!!
2. My first question: an actor can play anyone and be given any profession in his role. Is there any profession you feel that you would not perhaps be very good at in real life but would love to play a character working in it? (apart from serial killers...)
3. A character has to be consistent, yet also evolve, be entertaining and sometimes spontaneous. What are the key elements that help to stay in your character and be consistent while also having the freedom to develop and improvise? Do you choose a certain gesture, voice tone, phrase...?
4. Which of your characters has had the best fashion sense? Do you ever drive stylists crazy?
5. Could I meet you when I come to Korea next month :-)) ?

My questions to him:
1. What's the most number of NGs (Not Good takes; bloopers) that you've had, and for which scene, which drama?
2. Are you good at any foreign languages?

I first saw Namgoong Min in The Girl Who Sees Smell, and then in Remember. He must have been really good in his role because I really didn't like him (or I should say, his character). I find him likeable as I watched Beautiful Gong Shim and Chief Kim... he could do comedy too! I hope Doctor Prisoner continues to do well and hope it's good till the end! Does Dr. Na have any romance line in there, with Dr. Han maybe? I'm ok without any! :)

In acting, who is the one person you are most inspired by, within the Korean industry or on a global level?
What is your favorite movie and/or character from a movie?
Is there any character that you've seen in a movie and thought 'Ah, now that's a character I want to play'?

1) Will you consider doing variety programs?
2) Your roles are so diverse and challenging, it seems like youโ€™re trying to outdo yourself each time. Will there come a time where you canโ€™t find satisfaction in any new roles offered? Will you then take a hiatus as an artist or you will adjust your perspective as an actor and treat it purely as a means of livelihood?

So totally random question, but I'm expecting all the questions have to do with your career, so let me ask you something else as a refresher: Are you a good cook like ๊ถŒ์ œํžˆ? XD I hope you say no, because then it would be unfair because that would make you just too perfect XDD

You are an amazing actor as you played various roles. In action, comedy, romance and did it well. I liked you, also, as a villain. Tell me which one was your fave K-drama till now and which drama did you jealous and wanted to be a part of it.

Would you like to do a drama that is primarily science-fiction or fantasy? (Not just some slight magical elements, something focused on the genre like Goblin.)
