Beanie level: Rooftop room dweller

Bloody arrogant but freaking true. 😟

B.I. the performer is cool. But apparently he’s turning out to be one of those detached celebrities.

If he is the architect of their sound …..why not take some credit.
I can think of a lot of groups through history that have incredibly talented members and maybe be better as a whole than as individuals, but still have the one or two members that really set them on their course.

I loved Can You Hear My Heart’s Bong Maru, but Chief Kim’s Sungryong may have overtaken the spot as my favorite Namgoong Min’s character. I can’t help but to compare Chief Kim & Doctor Prisoner too. Hands down it’s Kim Sungryong > Na Yije, but plot wise it will be the latter for me.

Dongha’s Tanzanian was epic, & I can’t wait to see his new projects after his military dischargement!

Thanks TQ psycho & the gluttonous sociopath! I had a great time~

When the boys finally joined forces, the results were absolutely rewarding.

I think this was one of very few dramas that the last couple episodes were actually my favorites. Junho and Namgoong Min were hilarious together.

Did you see the last episode of I live alone. Namgoong Min is funny solitude man.

Of course, I gotta mention the highlight of the show.

THIS BROMANCE. 💙

The first time I watched this, I didn’t know who Junho was. I swore he was a seasoned actor and not an idol actor with few projects under his belt.

I loved this drama. On of the few that I actually found the humour generally funny.

Would love to watch this show but have yet to find a version I can watch.

One of the best makjang parodies.

No, it’s the best one EVER.

Never a fan of shower scenes, but I LOVE this.

I rewinded it for at least ten times, & it made me laugh every single time.

omg, that was so funny! I remember just hooting. Now I may have to rewatch Chief Kim after what you’ve done here today 😁

Real life hasn’t been kind to me these days too, on top of B.I, sighs. 😔

In the midst of this depression, I found comfort in Chief Kim. More of smiles & laughter. 🙂

This drama had me right from the start. I loved that sageuk intro.

https://www.soompi.com/article/1332470wpp/girls-generations-taeyeon-shares-recent-struggles-with-depression

[However, when one person wrote to her, Is this bipolar disorder? Tsk tsk,” Taeyeon gave an honest but firm response. She wrote back, β€œNo, I am suffering from depression. I am working hard to get better through treatment with antidepressants. Whether it’s depression or bipolar disorder, please don’t β€˜tsk’ and treat people disrespectfully. They are all patients who are suffering.”]

WTF. That’s RUDE. That person can’t be a fan for sure.

*a middle finger up from someone who had bipolar*

That and the fact that some netizens scoff at her just because her bank account has extra zeros than most people. That just disgusts me.
I thought we learnt through Jonghyun tragedy that depression does not discriminate. Or many other seniors in the entertainment industries tbh. Having money and career doesn’t mean you can’t be battling depression (or any other psychological disorders)
Can we just be a decent human towards each other? Is that too much to ask?

*continues self-inflicting*

Watched their performances on award ceremonies last year when they swept the Daesangs for Love Scenario, & my favorite dance practice videos, then almost teared up watching BLING BLING’s one.

To make things worse, I watched Bang Bang Bang’s dance practice too. Still legends, but will never be the same again. (I can’t wait for their military dischargements. It will be like kdrama Part 2.)

I’m still not over this thank you speech.

Why did I go back to read on my old iKON posts, especially the ones I wrote for their concert that I went last November?! πŸ€¦β€β™€πŸ€¦β€β™€πŸ€¦β€β™€

I need to calm down. Doubt there will be new projects or appearances before their Japan tour. It’s lay low time now.

Throwback to this old post of mine.

\”This is really (random) out of the blue, but happiness can be a broad term (vague), so I hope life becomes something worth living for every day.\”

I’m sorry, beanies. For the depressing rants & negativities these few days.

This departure hit me real hard.

Remember I mentioned yesterday that \”I never knew that listening to kpop can be so depressing, when it’s even an upbeat song\”? It was a CNBlue song.

Imagine if it’s an iKON song.

My iPod actually shuffled to BLING BLING earlier today & I literally heard my heart broken into pieces, like glass scattered all over the floor when that first brass beat came up.

Then I just saw Lee Hi’s performance on Music Core today, & when I realized they erased ALL traces of Hanbin, I instantly closed the video coz I couldn’t watch it anymore. It’s understandably cruel & painful.

I really hope that this feature song isn’t the last time I get to hear his vocals.

His talent, his potential. THEY CAN’T GO TO WASTE.

Listening to Kpop and having it be depressing even though it’s an upbeat song:
    – DB5K songs
    – JYJ songs
    – 5HINee songs
    – Jong Hyun’s solo songs

    1
    1

oh yes. i’m not sure if i can ever rewatch Oh My Venus, with JH’s cheerful OST playing in every ep…

glad i wasn’t a fan of the dbsk generation idols. that’s gonna be so painful too.

*rant again*

Call me ignorant. Coz ignorance is bliss. I’m at a state where I’m constantly worried about what breaking news will be out next. Whether the dealer/lawyer/whoever will reveal more names pertaining to whichever controversies (or maybe even new ones). Coz c’mon, THIS is the entertainment industry. That’s how it’s like generally. Let’s not feign innocence. It really just depends on how much information are hidden & how well they are concealed.

If everything were to be out under the sun, then who’s & what’s left to entertain me? The industry will be in ruins. Humans are ugly, no one is perfect & I’m just another selfish bastard.

*Where’s my humanity switch, I needa flip it NOW*

I never knew that listening to kpop can be so depressing, when it\’s even an upbeat song. 😔

I wonder how will the kpop scene be like in the next few years. Not sure if I will still be around by then coz the future of the groups I loved are bleak. 😪

Nothing will be the same again. 😞

Maybe it will be a renaissance. There will be a shift and then great music from all that happened. Sometimes bleak times leads to great creativity.

let’s hope for the best then. i’m still too depressed by the recent events. sighs.

I wrote a reply, but it had an inappropriate word somewhere. It was about how I think this is a good thing that people in K entertainment are finally being held accountable for illlegal behaviors. Of K-ent wants to have global longevity, it has to clean up its act.

*still ranting*

Can I be a brainless & shallow fan, who just takes whatever\’s available on the market & move on easily to other sources when things fail? Who cares about the behind drama of all that awesome music making? *lying through my teeth*

I need a levelup on my indifferency.

*rant alert*

The entire YG saga really seems like a kdrama, now that the dealer linked to Hanbin\’s case was the very one who was involved with TOP. *dramatic BGM* *everything & everyone is related*

If this is a 20-episode drama, I thought we would be at the ep 8 mark now, but actually we are still at ep 5, & if lucky, maybe by ep 9 the rest of the BB members will make a cameo. Though what we are really waiting for, is the appearance of YHS, who will only make an entrance, earliest at ep 16. However, WILL WE EVER GET PASS EP 10?! It feels like we will be stucked forever in the first half of this lousy drama!!!!!!!!

*incoherent screams*

20
6

When do we find out that YHS is really GD’s father?
And that at nine months old Hanbin and Lee Hi’s mothers were taking them for a walk on the same day at the same time and as their strollers passed each other their little baby hands reached out and touched for a moment.

    15
    1

I’m hoping that it takes place in an alternate universe. The BB members who went astray are actually clones. Time travel and time skips will play a large role in the last half of the drama.

It makes sense that the dealer is the same. Honestly he probably deals to a lot of idols.

i didn’t think that much, coz it can’t possibly be only one dealer out there. must be many more. but guess they shared their contacts afterall.

In happier news, my 2nd attempt at Waikiki Season 1 was successful!

Baby Sol was cute & I need to applaud for the awesome timely editing of her scenes. 😄

My favorite would be Rebecca, the constant in both seasons. 🚗😆
