Drama viewership ratings for the week of Nov. 11-17, 2019

The late November shows are starting to trickle in, y’all. First up, we had the second season of the well-received Chief of Staff. Back in June, this drama was pulling in 4-5 percent ratings, and it continues to do so with the premiere garnering 4.2 percent.
VIP and Vagabond took a backseat in Pre-emption Land, while Secret Boutique returned with not so stunning results. Crushing Secret Boutique and the rest of its competition was When the Camellia Blooms, hitting 20 percent with its 34th episode. And Camellia still has one week to go!
A lot of the weekend shows, such as My Country, Pegasus Market, and Melting Me Softly, didn’t perform as well this time around. But with more finales on the horizon, numbers are sure to jump, or maybe even shoot up.

Wish Extraordinary You had better ratings. I know its not everyone's cup of tea but once you like it there is no going back. Kim Hye Yoon is such a gem. Read somewhere its online streaming ratings are good or something.

I believe it's because the target audience for EY is on the younger side and they opt to stream instead of watch it live. So imo the live drama ratings are not likely to pickup.
Camelia on the other hand, has a broader viewer age range and the story itself suits many age groups, older people are more likely to watch TV at home hence the high ratings.

tbh the past few episodes of EY have lost its steam, very repetitious, draggy and kinda boring. Ratings won't go anywhere except lower even...

yes, some of my friends have already dropped it. most have already read the webtoon. I won't be surprised if streaming is less from ifans. It is boring now.

Too bad about Melting Me Softly. It was really an agony from start to finish. I wish JCW comes up with a better project asap. Nothing beautiful nor wonderful in Beautiful Love Wonderful Life. Almost All characters are extremely flawed!!!

Terrestrial has outclassed cable in ratings and buzz this time around. There is still hope for MBC, KBS and SBS. Especially KBS with two popular dramas this season one of which broke the coveted 20% mark.

I really enjoy the drama nowadays. Tale of nokdu, VIP, chief of aide, camellia, and pegasus market are really good. It's a pity that pegasus market only broadcast once a week. The drama is really hilarious and sometimes it is touching.
