I haven’t seen Monday’s episode yet, so I’m going on the snippet we saw in the preview.

I suspect that Seo Jung-hwa may have attacked Ha Chan-ho in self defense. Or — younger bro, who looked very possessive of her, may have grown impatient and attacked him. Brother killing/injuring brother would be a much bigger calamity for the family than the death/injury of a mere mistress, especially if the designated heir were killed or sentenced to life in prison. If noona had been appointed Dad’s successor, the bloodshed could have been avoided — which was exactly what Hee-jae was attempting to engineer when he was thwarted.

I agree that, whatever went down, it will be a very loud wake-up call for Geum-ja.
